Responsive host, easy check in, secure room. Clean space, protected mattress. Your rate gets you a class of room; THEY ARE NOT ALL EQUAL. My “deluxe single or double” was less than a prison cell size, no air movement, no natural light, no space to walk if you have any bag or luggage. It’s cost effective, but know what you are getting. I checked out a day early. Non refundable location.

I got there and called the host and they took forever to answer. A random person came and opened the door for me but he wasn’t the host. Then when I finally got into the room, the A/C wasn’t working. I contacted the host about this and he said he would send someone in 40 minutes. I wanted and then ended up just leaving. Then the host refused a refund and it was $226!! it doesn’t look like it does in the photos. It’s not very clean. Do not stay here

First of all it was dump with a for sale sign out front and vehicles all over the property. I found the phone number and a hispanic man answered so I questioned him if that was the property called La Mare and he said yes. I told him it looked like s dump and I wasn’t going to stay there . He said they are remodeling so I could cancel so I did and he assured me I wouldn’t get charged! My first and last time booking through hotels.com ! Then we had. i drive stone looking for another place and will be staying there again

Arrived at the property and there was no one there to greet us. I tried emailing the host and received no reply. I tried ringing the number on the confirmation email and no reply. A man who was there (another guest) showed us how to get in but we did not have a room for us. The man then spoke to someone who said they did not have a booking for us in their system despite us having paid and received a confirmation email. Also, the property was very run down and looked like a hostel for down and outs. In the end we decided to book a room at a motel nearby instead. I shall be complaining and looking for a refund.
