Poor customer service
A beautiful, updated apartment walking distance from all the attractions historic downtown Savannah has to offer. Unfortunately our experience was marred by extremely poor service and complete lack of basic customer service. On the 2nd night of our stay, the bedroom smoke alarm went off at 5AM and we promptly reported it about 9AM. A staff arrived an hour later to change the battery. When we got back to the apartment that night, we were greeted by the piercing beeping of the smoke alarm and we reported it again around midnight. Customer service responded by 3AM that they will look into it. Nobody showed up in the morning. We followed up multiple times during the day & finally got the response to remove the battery ourselves. The ceiling is about 12ft high with no ladder available. I ended up moving a shelving unit under the alarm and my wife climbed up to remove the battery. We reported the unsuccessful attempt and asked to be moved to another unit as a 2nd sleepless night was unacceptable. There was no response till 11:30pm by then too exhausted to move & slept on the floor in the living room area. For compensation we were offered a $30 gift card. This is simply disrespectful, not a way to treat your guests. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this place as the management company is not prepared to handle a basic maintenance situation. We were “lucky” it wasn’t a gas leak or malfunctioning faucet.
Lastly when my wife climbed the shelf, she was greeted by a used sanitary pad.
