The administration and personnel is absolutely first-rate. Always helpful, good-humored, friendly and smiling, and speaking english fluently. You can hardly get a better location for finding your own ways around Budapest, and in addition you get an excellent view of central parts of Pest from rooms on the top floor. Couldn't be better, this is my two best weeks in the Hungarian capitol so far.

The place is not our cup of tea, 1 star.

I shouldn't have picked the place because of it's price, now I find fully understand you get what you pay for. The place is really old and quite disappointed , the room is really noisy because it's next to light rail. We stepped in the room, thinking it must be the heater turned up high by accident, but it was the hot water heater in the bathroom that made the stay unbearable, it was really really hot and stuffy and It's a really old residential apartment from the 50's , and you have to go through a dark alley way before reaching the elevator. It fit only 4 person tightly in elevator, and when we reached 5th floor our rooms, the elevator was not leveled with the floor, someone could trip on that. Once we opened the door, there's another door leads to our room. After that evening, we heard someone trying to get into the main door, and realized there's someone living in the same apartment, but through another door. We left after only 2nights and cut short of our trip and left. We were really tired from touring the Budapest city, and got awakened by the morning light rails, it was really a 2 torturing nights. The staff are very friendly and no fault on their own. It's the place it's way too old for our taste.

Great place off the beaten track...

100 meters from tram 2 & 4, 300 meters from the Danube where tram 2 frequents! Just a few minutes on any of these teams takes you to the main tourist areas. The local area has quite a few nice restaurants and bars. The apartment is situated within a residential block, so very nice people within the block. Reception team are very helpful and attentive, spotlessly clean rooms, a nice peaceful area. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but I was invited to have hot drinks in the breakfast room any time I required, so no issues there. I would recommend this place to anybody and will be doing so shortly. Thanks to the Boulevard team for a perfectly enjoyable stay.

Für eine Städtereise vollkommen ok,

Wenn man nur was zum übernachten sucht. Anbindung an öpnv ist relativ nah, bis ins Zentrum sind es ca 2,1 km; wir haben die jeden Tag erlaufen (30 Minuten). Wir hatten ein ganz einfaches Zimmer ohne Schnickschnack und ohne Frühstück. Also wer nicht grad anspruchsvoll ist und nur günstig was zum übernachten sucht, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich und sprechen ein gutes Englisch, housekeeping hat auch wunderbar funktioniert.

Hyvät yhteydet keskustaan. Hotelli oli siisti, wifi toimi moitteettomasti ja ilmastointi viilensi ihanasti pitkän päivän jälkeen. Aamupala, joka maksoi 7€, oli mitäänsanomaton. Emme syöneet kyseisestä syystä. Lähellä kuitenkin oli leipomoita ja ruokakauppoja, joista sai kätevästi aamupalaa.

Generally good stay

This is pretty family-like place with good personnel, but breakfast is not enough tasty and some equipment is not comfortable (old and noisy bed, etc), broken lamp, etc). Meantime, easy access to public transportation (bus, metro) and local shops/cafe which are modest by their offer

Good option for people on a budget

Though not in the center of the tourist area, it's conveniently located to several public transportation options that can get you to the castle and parliament building within 10-15 minutes. Basically a good place for folks on a budget. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was pretty good. Wifi was fine. Check in was easy. My only complaint was that there was a huge problem with ants. I had to keep ALL food in the refrigerator because if I left it out, within minutes there were ants everywhere -- including on the bed.

It was wonderful and quite close to city centre by public transport. But what bothered me is the hostel/eating place downstairs right below my room, though on fourth floor. the room smelt always of meat. Also the room has no aircondition/far or shampoo and such resources.
