We had a very wonderful time at this hotel. The staff was very quick to help us. Bringing in our bags and parking our cars. We definitely want to shout out Harry, he recommended us food at Kafen and was very knowledgeable about El Salvador. The property was well-maintained. We got a massage. We did our engagement photos shoot with Andrea and the photographer, they made us feel comfortable. The drone was super cool! They have super friendly dogs, they didn’t bother us at all. They were also extremely attentive and messaged us with updates or if we needed anything they were in constant communication with us during our day.Everything about this place deserves good reviews.

Las montañas de la ruta de las flores son muy lindas, montañas sembradas con café. La experiencia podría mejorarse si el personal que da la bienvenida pudiera informar de las ACTIVIDADES que se pueden hacer en esa área. Si eres de los que quieren apartarse y descansar es buena opción, si tu plan es descansar pero con algo de actividades no lo recomiendo. Recomiendo instalar camas más grandes, por lo menos Queen, ya que dormir 2 personas en una cama matrimonial no es muy cómodo. Sugiero que como es una zona cafetalera, instalar un máquina de café en cada habitación, para poder levantarse y ver el amanecer tomando una taza de café, y no esperar hasta que habrán el pequeño restaurante . Felicito al personal del restaurante por su buen servicio. Espero sea tomada en cuenta como una crítica constructiva mi opinión .

The hotel provides a truly beautiful experience. You can completely disconnect from the demands of everyday life and reconnect with nature and your partner. The peaceful surroundings, the sounds of nature, and the overall atmosphere make it the perfect place to relax and recharge. For those of us with children, however, it can be a little nerve-wracking because there is virtually no cell phone signal. While the opportunity to disconnect is part of the charm, having more reliable Wi-Fi would provide extra peace of mind for parents who may need to stay reachable in case of an emergency. Overall, it is a wonderful getaway for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy quality time surrounded by nature.

If you know you're signing up for a luxury glamping experience and not a traditional hotel stay, this is an amazing experience. First off, I speak Spanish very well and that's almost a must here. You'll struggle to communicate with staff if you're not at least intermediate in your tourism Spanish. We stayed in "The Bubble" two nights, and wow, what a unique experience. It was clear and sometimes foggy during the day when we wanted to be out doing stuff. At night, we got treated to massive storms right over our bubble. We enjoyed that more than stargazing. The room was immaculate. The staff is amazingly friendly. The outdoor bathtub draws warm water, but the shower and the private pool are.... stoic. You get chilly rainwater just how it comes off the mountain. Like most of El Salvador, you're not flushing any toilet paper. The on-property restaurant is a real plus. Great drinks and entrees. You're on a coffee plantation, so this place is a coffee lover's dream. On-site prices are high by Salvadorean standards but very low by U.S. standards. Not at all walkable so be prepared to mostly chill in nature. We walked to the nearest town and found a wonderful restaurant "Recete de la Abuela" but that was about it. Highly recommend if you can speak enough Spanish.

This stay was one of a kind, the feel and tranquility of this place is something to experience when you visit El Salvador, but bring some bug repellent with you! Room service was amazing and friendly. Water pressure in the shower needs to be fixed would be my only complaint. Also not much visibility looking out from the globe through the not so clear panels. Overall definitely worth a stay!

Kafen Hotel was a really nice and relaxing stay on a well maintained and landscaped property. The room I stayed in the largest of their Bubble rooms and enjoyed the peace and tranquility. The only thing I disliked was all of the hair I found all over the room. As many have stated there is no hot water but I managed. Overall I had a great experience and there was a nice amount of things to do in the area.

Underwhelming Stay

I really wanted to enjoy my stay, but a few things fell short. The road to the hotel badly needs maintenance—it’s nearly impossible without a 4x4. Food options were limited, and my steak arrived nearly raw despite ordering medium. The room amenities were sparse for the price point, which felt disappointing. That said, the staff was very friendly, and the waterfall tour was a highlight.

Cuando llegamos, esa carpa estaba peor que una sauna. Si sabían que íbamos a llegar, podrían haber encendido el aire. Nos cobraron $55 por un arreglo romántico con pétalos falsos y una botella que costaba menos de $10. Además, nos cobraron $80 por un masaje que, honestamente, fue el peor de mi vida. Todo el piso de la habitación estaba levantado. El agua nunca salió caliente, estaba helada.
