This hotel is in an excellent location for exploring the city, not far from Waverley station and next to The Dome. When we booked we told the hotel that this was a wedding anniversary trip and there was a card and a bottle of prosecco chilling in the room when we arrived which was a lovely surprise. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment about the food. Some reviews have said that the hotel can be noisy but we didn't experience this, in fact our room was very quiet.

We arrived on a Sunday stayed till Wednesday,stayed in the Atlantis room.The room was clean amenities were good tea,coffee and bottled water is free.The only problem was the room was warm air conditioning didn’t work properly till the last night. The staff were helpful and polite.

We stayed here for my husbands birthday and arrived and got a surprise room upgrade and bottle of Prosecco. The girl on reception was very helpful. The hotel was lovely, maybe needed a wee bit of TLC in some places. Didn’t like the idea of walking to your room and two linen/towel cupboards wide open for all too see and also what looked like a staff locker room on the same floor as the rooms. Otherwise hotel is very central, walking distance to all amenities

I traveled to Edinburgh to visit family. This hotel is centrally located yet quiet from the noise of Princes Street. The room was amazing and the staff was always helpful. Will definitely return on my next visit!

Style over substance! Poor customer service from the get go. Receptionist desk unmanned most of the time. No water in the room for two days. Terrible menu for breakfast, it was included in the tariff but was so awful we went out for breakfast the rest of the time. I could go on and on!! At checkout no conversation at all, on the whole underwhelmed, would not entertain this hotel again nor recommend it.

Our room (Reykjavik) was very spacious and the bed was really comfortable. The hotel itself was well presented. We didn't get chance to use the bar or sample the food, but it looked really nice. We will definitely stay here again.
