Like Palermo, looks promising but fails to deliver
It's an unusual apartment layout and should be better laid out. Doesn't sleep more than 2 and yet there are 4 chairs and it's not meant for entertaining either! And none of them face the smallest TV I've seen anywhere. Pointless having it. The bed is too big for the loft - it's a king size I think but there's no room to get in or out as it's too close to the walls. A queen size would be much more appropriate. Bottom two steps of the staircase are loose/loud sounding - especially at night. The walls are paper thin and you could regularly hear neighbours shifting furniture throughout the night for some reason.
Primary issue was cleanliness or the lack of... floor was swept but should have been washed. Anything that couldn't be seen easily was filthy. The shower was filthy - hair on the walls. It's so easy to clean things nowadays - no excuse for that. The drain is partially blocked and one had to stop the shower and let it drain before starting again. Water would flow out onto the main floor if you didn't.
Because I had some work to do on my city break, my main issue was that there was no WiFi when it is clearly advertised as having it. The agent was really unhelpful and distanced himself from the actual owner.
Very disappointing overall. It has real potential and I think would be great for a solo traveller if it was much cleaner and had proper WiFi. I did purchase a Lycamobile SIM card and hotspotted to it to get my work done and the reception was great.
