This property is very old and dilapidated. They have done a superficial refurb to the room we were in, but it still had dog scratch marks deep into the exterior door and the bathroom door. There was no housekeeping service. There were clearly long term occupants with pets and even tomato plants outside the property. There were at least two non-functional cars in the parking lot and lots of people loitering about with stolen shopping carts. If price is your ONLY consideration, this property is cheap, but we never felt safe outside nor comfortable inside (cheap, hard, droopy mattress).

It served it's purpose. Walking distance to Truist, the room was clean and,considering the age of the facility, amazingly updated (do please note the disclaimer). HOWEVER, the high homeless people on or near property would be concerning to those other than three males (our group) together. In the parking lot of the motel I saw two disabled junk cars: one with flat tires and the other without tags and the windows broken out (that was just in the area where we parked). But there were also a large number of guest cars that were new and nice which tells me this motel is used for exactly what we we doing: a seriously cheap and decent - inside - motel for an all guys baseball trips. Your wives and/or girlfriends will NOT stay here. Will I do it again as a dude's trip? Sure.

We got there and waited 30 minutes before leaving to find another hotel. No one was at the check out desk when we arrived. We waited and waited we were tired from a long drive and it is really sad that we couldn’t get a refund. Wasted money on a nasty hotel I’m glad we went somewhere else it was disappointing.

The room was basically clean but had no perks such as shampoo, coffee cups, tissues or lotion. The surroundings were not conducive to relaxing and sleeping. We did not feel safe and secure. The bed was worn and the pillows were not comfy. We will stay here again.
