Perfect location right on the beach! Wonderful pool also. This hotel has been completely renovated and everything is new. Small place, so it is quite. Great for fishing or surfing or just enjoying nature.

This hotel is located within the Archie Carr Turtle reserve and we were fortunate enough to witness baby turtles hatching and making their journey back to the sea which took place right outside of our balcony. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Loved our stay and will return many more times

Great place! Can wait to return. If you want to get out of the busy beach areas and have a quiet beach vacation this place is great! They have a warm pool cute clean rooms and beach chairs and pool towels for use, but bring your own shampoo and conditioner the provided one is awful.

The best family beach getaway!

We had the best stay at Melbourne Beach Resort and Surf Club. First of all, the room was spotless. I'm very picky when it comes to cleanliness and this place held to my standards! It looked like everything had just been redone - very modern furnishings, very comfortable beds, spacious living room, bedrooms, and bathroom. Second, the staff were so friendly and welcoming! I appreciated the check-in text a day in advance and was able to confirm all of the things I needed prior to the stay. Amy and Stephanie were just wonderful hosts! Third, the beach access, pool area, and deck were perfect for lounging, watching the waves, getting some sun, and having ultimate relaxation. The weather wasn't great when we first got there, but the scenery was so beautiful we still enjoyed watching the wild waves from the deck. We can't wait to stay there again soon!

A hidden gem in Melbourne.

Melbourne Beach Resort & Surf club is a hidden gem with private beach access and modern/updated rooms. Amy was super helpful in checking us in early; lent us a bottle opener & wine corkscrew we forgot to bring. About the only quibble I have is that the mattresses were a bit "springy". It was adequate and on par with other hotels. Otherwise, we were very pleased with our stay. Will definitely be looking to come back.

We had an excellent stay at the Melbourne Beach Resort. Manager Amy was wonderful to deal with - and she went above and beyond expectations by shipping some forgotten items to us after we departed. Our two bedroom unit was spacious and sparkling clean with good amenities. The beach was steps away, and complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas were provided. Dining options were plentiful in the town of Melbourne Beach, a 10 minute drive away. We can definitely recommend this as a great place to stay.

This was the best beachfront hotel we've ever stayed at! The proximity to the beach, the quiet area (very few people), and the staff were amazing! We flew in and didn't have beach chairs or supplies, but that wasn't a problem! The pool was heated, and the staff were incredible! The resort had chairs & umbrellas for use, and the tenants leave beach toys and boogie boards for others to enjoy! There were a lot of little, unique seashells, but not a lot of big ones. There is a shelf where shells collect that can be accessed at low tide. We'll definitely be going back. Room 101 on the first floor is the best room with the best view and most privacy!
Most shells were about a 15 minute walk south of the resort.

I will definitely be returning! I took my grandson and daughter in law for weekend and stayed in beachfront suite. It was wonderful! The views and ocean waves were spectacular! My grandson was in beach then pool not stop, was great. Very clean and spacious. Thanks to the staff for everything!

Extremely clean, staff extremely nice, and the beach is literally right there. We only spent one night but the property is completely modern. Will definitely say again.
