Generally speaking I loved this property, the inside of the rooms were quite nice and clean, and the area is beautiful. Some of the amenities are a little dated, like the pool and gym but that really didn't detract from the experience.
The only bad thing I would say is that the room was not available for check in at 2pm. We arrived early and didn't expect the room to be ready, but at no stage were we informed that they were running late for a 2pm check in. First we were told less than half an hour so we waited in the foyer. After 50mins I had to approach the front desk to ask again, and finally the room was ready. I don't have a problem with things going wrong, it is how it is managed that causes the problems. We ended up sitting around for almost 2hours because no one had been proactive and respectfully enough to call or inform us that there was a problem. Sure we got an apology, but honestly this was beyond just an apology. There most definitely should be compensation in these cases.
