This is a new place, not the historic manor we expected. It is located behind an abandoned church that appeared to be under renovation. There is only one restaurant nearby, just across the road, otherwise it feels to be in the middle of nowhere. In the check in instructions, it indicated that "the host will greet guests on arrival" but we found no one and had to call the number on the hotel sign on the roadside. It ended up being the restaurant across the road where we picked up the key, and the staff there were friendly, but knew no details about the accommodation. The whole experience felt very impersonal.
