Below the standard I would expect for the price

So the hotel room in itself was not equipt for two people, meaning only one chair by the table. The bed feelt like laying on slightly soft cardboard, so i couldnt sleep through the night and had back pain most days, also the duvet is a mostrosity, too big for one person with no options to swap for two smaller when there as a couple. The soap all had this very strong sent, that we tried to air out but didnt suceed in. Lastly the electricity could barely handle having on the oven and the lights at the same time so dont expect to do any real cooking in the kitchen. Also the bins didnt get taken out eventhough the sign was on the handle for days. The staff however were extremely nice and helpfull when they could, and there was a great view from the top floor with complimentary drinks, big bonus. I is in a "queiter" area of town so that was nice. The underground station on carnary warf is a nightmare tho when visiting for the first time so good luck. Lastly the images are wildly misleading as they show every possible room not the one you are rying to book. Overall i would say it was an okay visit, tho much below what i would expect for the price class.

Très bon emplacement pour ce magnifique hôtel au cœur de Londres. Nous y avons séjourné pendant le marathon de Londres. Le passage du 30eme kilomètres se situait devant l’hôtel !

Beautiful, with a few minor niggles

The hotel itself was beautifully fitted out, and in a superb location, and the staff were absolutely lovely. However there were a few niggles that stopped it from being really great. Firstly, the bed was very hard, and the duvet was far too heavy for the weather. The lack of aircon meant that I had to sleep under the duvet cover (not a problem as such, but a separate sheet or lighter cover to lay on top would have been better) but the two combined meant i didn't get a great night's sleep before London marathon. Also, while the market area on the 12th floor, where you could buy food and supplies, was generally very well stocked, they didn't have any toothpaste, which I'd forgotten, so i had to get out of my pyjamas and walk to the nearby supermarket. The TV in my room alsp wasn't working, but to the credit of the team there, they quickly offered me 20% off. Finally, the 12th floor lounge / communal area was beautifully appointed, with a coffee machine and milk, but no tea options. I think if they can iron out these few things, it will be worth a 5 star rating from me!

Lovely staff and amazing stay

We had the most wonderful stay at Vertus Edit Canary Wharf. The part of our stay that really made it special was the wonderful staff. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble , we were always greeted with a smile, and a good morning. We stayed in London to go to see Abba Voyage and we were given lots of information and enthusiasm for the show from one of the gentleman members of staff ....thankyou so much !! The hotel is in a perfect location, very close to restaurants, shops , the tube & DLR, parks and green spaces. We stayed in a 'little studio' which was perfect for 2 people and had everything we needed including a great kitchen. Everything was immaculate. The outdoor spaces are just lovely and the complimentary hot drinks in the shared lounges were a lovely touch. Thankyou everyone at Vertus Edit , we would definately stay again when in London. Well located and comfortable stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout, and the facilities were excellent—everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. The location is ideal, with easy access to central London via public transport, and perfectly placed if you're attending an event at the O2. Whether you're sightseeing or concert-going, you’re in the right spot. I stayed in one of the studios, which was small but perfectly formed. It had everything I needed for a comfortable self-catering stay, from a well-equipped kitchenette to a cozy living space. On-site facilities were also available for added convenience, and with food shops just around the corner, it made meal prep super easy. Highly recommend for both short and longer stays—great value, excellent service, and a really convenient base in London.

Highly Recommended

The apartment hotel is very clean, staff is very helpful and friendly, the amenities are excellent. Special shoutout to Aideen and Simon (reception). There is a wonderful lounge area with a gym and honesty market, as well as free coffee and tea which was great. It is surrounded by modern buildings and the area is very clean, safe, secure without the usual London crowd. We highly recommend!! Would definitely stay again.
