Tivemos uma estadia maravilhosa. A propriedade é linda e os chalés e bangalôs estão perfeitamente integrados à natureza. O bangalô em que fiquei tinha instalações simples mas muito confortáveis, com uma vista fenomenal. Café da manhã muito bom.

Beautiful property! Our room was wonderful. Comfy beds and pillows, lovely robes and slippers and the view from our porch was amazing. The breakfasts were great and as vegetarians we had lots of choices which was appreciated. The staff was so helpful and friendly.

We loved our peaceful and tranquil stay for 3 nights in December. We enjoyes walking around the properties grounds which has walking trails that go through the coffee /other fruit farms. We also saw several animals during by our walks! The breakfast, which was complimentary, was our favorite part of the days! Freshly made hot CR breakfast with eggs, variety of perfectly ripped fruit, fresh juice, coffee, and a variety of freshly made breads and pastries. Each day was a little different in what was offered but always several selections and very good. The staff are all very welcoming and the owner was present during breakfast to ask if we wish to have room keeping. The location is a little out of the main part of town. If you have a car, no problems but i would not recommend walking to town at night from hotel. We would absolutely stay with tityra lodge again! Pura Vida amigos.

Room was clean and spacious. Fully surrounded by nature, even though it lacked any sort of “view” (facing directly into the woods). We saw loads of agouti and a whole pack of 20+ coatis rolled through before dusk. Lots of birds too. Only downsides of the room were open bathroom (no door, just “around the corner”) and the traffic noise was very loud with a major road located right behind our unit (Tucán). The dirt bikes and semi trucks are relentless - not really the fault of the hotel but must be mentioned for light sleepers. Our was friendly upon check-in and gave us a rolling cart to help get luggage up the semi-steep rock driveway to our unit. They also started breakfast early for us the next morning because we had a 645am shuttle pickup - very thoughtful!

4 adults, 2 couples loved our stay at Tityra lodge. When booking this lodge it did not show how 2 rooms would look in the photos so I thought we would be getting a family suite where there are no bedroom, just 2 beds. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and had 2 full separate bedrooms and a gorgeous bathroom. The bathroom was equipped with slippers, lots of towels, shower caps, robes, shampoo and conditioner, anything you really needed. It had a small fridge and a coffee maker. There is no microwave. It had a dehumidifier which was much needed as it gets very damp outside. The family who owns the lodge is very friendly and you will see them out and about doing upkeep on the property daily. The breakfast was awesome and included in our stay. There is a locked gate on the property that closes at 10pm, there is an emergency number to contact if you are out later past 10pm and need to get back in. The check in is only from around 1pm-8pm, we arrived during the day but I’m not sure how seamless it would be for late arrivals? There is no AC in the units but I asked for a fan and they provided two!! There are 1km of trails around the coffee plants that were fun to explore. The lodge is a short 10 min drive into the neighbouring town that has tourist shops and lots of restaurants. The area feels very safe. The internet works great. Would recommend to couples, individuals, and families with children!

This place was BEAUTIFUL! The grounds are gorgeous and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. We loved the family-owned atmosphere and the breakfast was an added bonus. Our only complaint was that the water wasn’t very hot for showering. But they provided ropes and slippers so we were very warm otherwise. Great stay. Highly recommend!

Grandioser Ausblick aus der Kaffeeplantage in die umliegenden Berge bis hin zur Pazifikküste. Tiny Cabin Bourbon war genau richtig, richtig süß, gemütlich, urig... dazu sauber und gepflegt. Leckeres Frühstück mit prima Kaffee aus eigener Produktion. Damit ein perfekter Start in den Regenwaldtag. Eigene Trails erlauben Entdeckungen direkt im Umfeld. Alle relevanten Sehenswürdigkeiten in kurzer Distanz.
