We absolutely loved our stay at the Pinta! And I couldn’t recommend it enough. Ana greeted us both with a hug when checking us in which was a nice welcome! The rooms are clean, nicely appointed, and it felt like a lovely respite after a day of exploring. Definitely a stay more for couples since the nicely sized bathroom is separated by a generous drapery, but it didn’t bother my husband and I, we liked the whimsicalness of the design. Breakfast is delicious and served in the lounge with a plentiful selection. Short walk to restaurants and a pub in the village. And around a 25 minute drive to Pinhão. Highly recommend! It was one of our favorite stays during our travels through Portugal!

The mountain view was spectacular and the room very comfortable. The hotel was a bit difficult to find because of lack of signs but small town everyone knows where it is.

This was the most amazing property. Beautiful decor and upkeep, incredible view of the valley. Centrally located would definitely stay here again on future visits to Douro Valley. I don’t know, but whatever.

If you’re looking for a place with amazing views where you can unwind and relax then this is your place. The Pinta Boutique Hotel is located in an ideal location to be able to enjoy spectacular views of the vineyard lined mountains. The staff here were amazing. The property is very nice, the room was perfect with a small deck for enjoying your free time. The breakfast was well worth the money , nicely presented and everything you could want. I would definitely stay here again. The downfall is there is not a lot to do in this town but if you have a car you just drive to wherever you want to go.
