We mostly loved our stay at The Gilmore. Location is fantastic. Front desk staff was wonderful. Great outdoor areas. New property - nicely decorated, new finishes. However, while hardwood floors are lovely to look at, they are not great for multi-level living and therefore we constantly heard the people above us walking and walking and walking. I'd only stay again if I could be on the top floor.

We stayed at the Gilmore Hotel over the 4th of July weekend for a couples trip, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful—every interaction felt personal and genuinely kind. The hotel itself is in an unbeatable location, right in the heart of 12 South. We loved being able to walk to great restaurants, shops, and coffee spots, then come back to a quiet and peaceful room that felt like a true retreat. The rooms are brand new and beautifully designed. Ours had a really thoughtful layout, modern touches, and a cozy yet upscale vibe. We were especially impressed by how quiet the hotel was despite the central location—it made for a great night’s sleep after busy days exploring Nashville. Highly recommend the Gilmore for anyone looking for a stylish, comfortable stay with an unbeatable neighborhood vibe. We’ll definitely be back!
