Could be better, but it’s okay

There was not any hot water when I showered in the morning. The bathroom smelled a bit like wet cat and was not well ventilated. There were no accessible outlets near the beds for charging cables. The walls did not seem to have any soundproofing as we were woken up by a conversation one morning and someone’s alarm clock the next morning. Breakfast was decent. The lady cleaning up the area was really nice. The front desk was very helpful. Parking was convenient but unclear why they are charging $10 per day. Beds and towels were clean, but a couple extra towels would have been nice.

Great hotel. I sure of why there is a parking fee as there is nothing nearby. We are inner city people. Area was a bit sketchy to the right when exiting the hotel. Going left was much better. Service was great. Front desk was great. Rooms were clean. Breakfast could use an upgrade

It was actually a clean hotel BUT too much noise and people staying were all shady persons making loud noises late at night. The corridors and even our room reek of weed all night. It is funny that the hotel has a no smoking policy and they say nothing to cannabis. It was disturbing. The sink in the room was blocked and tv didn’t work. We didn’t bother telling anyone. Breakfast was extremely poor and very bad coffee.

Comfortable bed!

I got in late (11p) after driving 2hrs because my daughter was at Albany Med in the ER. Front desk was nice and got me checked in fast. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Ice machine on 4th floor didn’t work. Hotel seemed old. Not disappointed cause I just needed sleep and that’s what I got.

Clean, safe, friendly staff, within walking distance of MVP arena. There is really not much around though if you are looking for shopping. Surrounding area was eerily quiet, although we were there on a Sunday night for an event at MVP. The name of the hotel has changed to Country Inn & Suites though- no longer Albany Hotel. This needs to be updated on the hotels.com app.
