We booked online at Hotels.com and used our PayPal account to pay. When we arrived, there was an insanely long line to check in at the front desk but we had received a QR code via email so could check in immediately at a kiosk. Unfortunately, when asked to present the credit card that was used for booking, it did not recognize the card linked to our PayPal account. This prevented us from checking in but fortunately Alex (Guest Relations) was very helpful and got us processed quickly and easily.
Otherwise, this resort is wonderful for families. The water park, scheduled activities, and other experiences were fun and engaging for all ages. The rooms were well maintained and clean, with friendly staff. The only downside was the onsite food. Very expensive for mediocre quality food, and long wait times. We chose to go off-site for breakfast the next day and loved the local Cuban bakery we found nearby.
