Pros -Great free room upgrade, friendly staff (very helpful and approachable) and food was good, great tea tray. Cons - having to pay to park to stay at the hotel and pay the same rate as someone who wasnt, food menu limited range, room a little dated and some small decorative touches needed.

Notre chambre sentait fortement le tabac froid. Je suis allée le signaler et nous avons eu une autre chambre supérieure. Nos amis ont constaté quant à eux que le ménage laissait a désirer. Stayed for two nights over new year. Returned to hotel around 2am after a lovely evening with friends but the noise that went on in the hotel for hours after was unbearable. Couldn’t sleep for constant banging, doors being knocked on etc. Our room was also so hot which we’d brought to the attention of the receptionist in the afternoon who said they’d look at it- they managed to open the window which we then struggled to close at 2am. Mentioned again in the morning to be told the hot water system ran past that room hence why it was so hot. Pool was the best thing about our stay but I do see that they are trying to upgrade the hotel- dining room looked amazing. Didn’t eat so couldn’t comment. Sorry but wouldn’t rush back.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Our room was clean and warm. The only thing to mention was the pool area which needs a spruce up especially all the rust that shows. A couple more chairs needed too as there were only two to relax on but fortunately we were the only couple there. The pool was perfect for a swim which we did enjoy.

Staff was amazing. The room was clean but old. The bed, although I paid for a queen or king ended up being two separate beds put together, and both of them had huge divots in them from where people have been sleeping. So I do believe that they need to be replaced. Location was great as it was walking distance to downtown. The food in the restaurant was not the best. And all I could hear while I was eating was a whole bunch of kids screaming in the pool. Apparently the restaurant and the pool are just separated by glass. The rest of the time I ate out at other locations. But once again, the staff was amazing. The hotel just needs to be updated a bit. I would give it a five or six out of 10.
