It’s right by the nippori station so that in itself is a big plus. The rooms are on the smaller end but very much doable for a party of two in one bed, and especially for a solo traveler. Laundry is on the second floor and very easy to use. Also, never had the breakfast buffet but it is a traditional Japanese breakfast and not an American one, which is great for those looking for that. Nippori itself is a lively city, with a quiet and calmer neighborhood to the right of the hotel, and plenty of restaurants, cafe’s, and activities to the left. I personally enjoyed the quick and easy access to the area, and the quick walk to Familymart and the station. Staff was as friendly as can be, and I recommend this place for those on a budget! It’s a few stops from Ueno and akihabara and Tokyo station on the JR line, which means a great ability to move anywhere Definitely recommend

I also checked out the laundry room for the first time, although I didn't use it--I think it's such a nice amenity to have. Front desk personnel is helpful. Location is convenient and it’s near the railway station. Room is small with simple and minimum hotel facilities. It’s recommended to travelers who don’t spend much time in the hotel. My room (#603) is VERY close to the railway and you can hear the noise every few minutes when a train passes; this would be very annoying if you could not stand with the noice. Be aware that Check out time is 10AM and hotel charges JPY1,000 per extra hour if you plan to stay longer; normally other hotels’ check out time is 11:00 or 12:00. This is a budget oriented type of hotel; it’s good only if you can accept the negative parts.
