Room was clean and service was awesome. They offered bottled water, which is great relief in the new city.

The hotel in general was good,
However some staff needs to compensate for less service minded staff. Great work for those of you who really try.
The hotel experience started bad during check in and check out.
Check-in was bad due to she could not find reservation and after several input to request a additional bad it came the day after.
Check out was bad as we intended to pay upfront before the morning of check out. Also our pre booked breakfast was given to another guest.
I would not recommend this as a 5star hotel as they say.

Attitude of staff on front desk not professional - been told that i should pay each time i use the restaurant using my credit card rather than charging to my room and then paying a complete bill upon checking out.- I have never in all my stays in hotels around the world in over 30 years of travel experienced this, and coming from a Hyatt regency my estimation of this hotel brand has fallen down as the lowest estimation of poor customer service. Your front desk staff should ask for my credit card and then i can sign resturaunt bills to my room . Also on my last stay for breakfast staff just chatter amongst themselves . I will never stop at a Hyatt regency hotel again thanks

Kudos to the staff and especially Aditi for going above and beyond. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a good hotel to stay at near this area!
The service was very sub par.
1. Check in experience - chaotic at best - got only one room key for each room although both were on double occupancy. Keep in mind that you need a key card to use the elevators at all times.
2. When I requested an additional key, I got one but the first key was auto disabled.
3. By the time I Figured that out, my wife had gone out and I got a new set of keys but both the old ones were disabled leaving my wife stuck outside without a working card.
4. My daughters were refused room service - simply because they forgot to get my card details at checkin. They were hungry for hours while we were out.
5. An experience manager gave me her number asking to reach out if I had any issues during my stay but she never picked up my phone call - ever.
6. I was refused a physical copy if my receipt citing technical challenges.
Overall, good property , well connected to Chennai but one of the worst service experiences that I have had.
