Fun spot. Excellent beach access. Loved the restaurant and bar that was attached. Not at all fancy or luxurious but a good clean spot to stay if you want a good location where you can walk to the beach. The bar and restaurant had great food and drinks and an extremely casual atmosphere. You could wear a swimsuit to eat dinner if you wanted to. You could also easily walk to several other shops and restaurants in the area. Great spot.

The Palm is a quiet, cozy option for SPI. They protect the security and the guest space and also have a wonderful restaurant overlooking the beach. There are very few restaurants right on the beach at South Padre, so The Palm is a great combo of quiet stay, great food, and beach access.

The Palms Resort gives you that retro vibe. Nothing fancy but the rooms are clean and roomy. Bed was comfy and the bar/restaurant below is convenient.

I've stayed at the palms many years ago, however, the addition of the Cafe and the guest services along with excellent customer service, you can't beat it anywhere on South Padre Island.

Run for the hills. The place is filthy They said the room was clean the toilet had a brown rim at the water level. The floor was tile black with mold The shower was dirty. I always have wet wipes I had to go to port Isabel and buy cleaning wipes to clean up after the maid The breakfast I thought was included But we paid a huge amount of money. The breakfast looked good tastes good but I got diarrhea after I ate there The only plus was the proximity to the beach Don’t waste your money staying there T gets an F-
