Great hotel effectively in its own grounds ( Thorne Park ) so great for a 30 min stroll or jog. We were attending the Hepworth Gallery so very convenient. Nice and quiet hotel and with pub / restaurant attached serving good food .

A great hotel in the grounds of Homefield park. A good atmosphere in the pub at all times. The staff are super helpful and friendly. My only criticism, is that there could be an improvement on the food quality. It just fell short of good, but there was a comprehensive menu and the prices were reasonable. The accommodation was clean and spacious and the room was well serviced every day. Accommodation price was very good. A lift would have been nice though.

The staff at the hotel was lovely, and the park which surrounds the hotel is beautiful. We ate at hotel several times, and the food was good. On Saturday, there was a wedding party right outside the window, which went on till midnight. Maybe it would have been better to put wedding guests in the rooms on that side of the building.

Pleasant hotel located in a pretty park. Difficult to get to without a car particularlyon a Sunday(I didn't have one) Quiet, clean room with bathroom and excellent large towels. Bath a bit high fir a smaller, older person. Very pleasant staff. Ok breakfast...good choices but cooked food felt it had been sitting for a while.

An okay stay, room was a bit dated with some features irritating. The shower over the bath had a clasp which meant you could only get the head no lower than to around mid chest. All was ok and a cheap price you can’t expect much. That said we’ve stayed in one or two much more expensive but worse hotels.

Holmfield arms hotel/pub is situated in the middle of a park. The surrounding areas are well kept and good proximity to accessibility to town etc. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable. There are tea/coffe facilities. The beds are comfortable, just having had a hip replaced i found them to be of good standard. The breakfast was ample, hot, delicious and the staff were very friendly and professional.
