Standard room is lower in price but subpar. It is located at the top floor through multiple stairs. Room is plain and closer to a 2-3 star hotel. Noise level can be high given bars across the street (very loud on weekends). Continental breakfast is very basic, service is great but the few employees that seem to work overtime. For $200 the location, and bed, clean bathroom is ok. More expensive rooms at the $350 mark merit a better look at other hotels like the Quinta Real. Disappointing.

Our stay at Palacio Borghese Hotel Boutique was truly exceptional, with impeccably clean and well-appointed rooms, a friendly and attentive staff who went above and beyond to cater to our needs, and a prime location that allowed us to easily explore the surrounding area. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Oaxaca.

Reservé una habitación de acuerdo a las fotos mostradas que correspondían a la casa histórica donde está el hotel. Me asignaron una completamente diferente. Las fotos mostradas son de las habitaciones que son parte de la casona vieja donde está el hotel, sin embargo, construyeron 3 habitaciones en la azotea del inmueble que no son parte de la casa histórica y esas tres habitaciones están hechas con materiales ligeros y no tienen nada que ver con las fotos de los cuartos de la casa, que son solamente 5.

El personal es extremadamente educado y servicial. La comida del desayuno es de primera !!! Sus dueños/administradores están presentes y atentos a cada detalle. Al llegar de una larga caminata te reciben con agua fresca del día (frutas), por ejemplo. Cada detalle esta pensado y el ligar es precioso

This is a beautiful boutique hotel and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are unique and there are great linens. Don’t miss the view from the rooftop! This hotel is just steps away from everything that Oaxaca has to offer.

Very bad experience, room was smelly and no exhaust in the washroom. There was a minor conflict with the attendant and I requested for the manager/supervisor, the attendant straight away denied it with the utmost rudeness.

Beautiful little boutique hotel very comfortable and located in a perfect location. Close to the historic downtown and yet a couple of blocks away from all the noise. The rooms are very comfortable as well. Farid and Jose were very helpful. Loved it!
