The Williams center was an affordable, clean and decent place to spend a few nights. And there are lots of great things with in 20 minutes walking distance so you really don't have to drive to enjoy New London from there. There is a shared kitchen area and the property manager provides water juice and coffee and some pastries in the morning. We had a great time, but someone with mobility issues would struggle with the stairs.

This is an Airbnb type residential home that has been subdivided into hotel rooms. The rooms are clean. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom looks like it was just remodeled, tiled and shower. Very plain room. No closet - a rack to hang clothes on a desk with chair, a futon and a small refrigerator. There is no TV but Wi-Fi is included in the cost of the room. Overall a cost-effective if rather plain place to stay while in Groton or New London.

Mr William is an excellent host. He provides everything you might need in terms of bathroom and kitchen amenities. The premises are very clean. He changes door codes after every guest and I felt safe.

We had a very comfortable and quiet stay here and appreciated the extra steps William takes to ensure his guests have a clean and pleasant stay. Our room was spacious, exceptionally clean and had all the amenities we needed. The shared kitchen/dining area was well kept and supplied for simple coffee and breakfast in the morning.

Our stay at The Williams Center was fantastic! The property manager, William, was kind enough to pick us up at the ferry and later drop us at the restaurant we had reserved. The room was clean and had a sofa, as well as a mini refrigerator, a rack to hang clothing and a coffee pot. It had quiet A/C and a small adjoining bathroom with shower. We also had the option of using a kitchen with a full size refrigerator and sink just down the hall. I would highly recommend this property if you’re staying in the New London area. We will definitely be returning.

This Bed and Breakfast place is a very old building converted into the hotel. However it needs major upgrades. For example, the room is hot and the AC only cools upper portion of the room because the wooden floor (and all walls) are not insulated. Manager William is very helpful but breakfast is not the best.
