Beautiful, comfortable, friendly, great food

My wife and I spent 5 days there with our daughter and we all had a wonderful time. The staff at the hotel are extremely friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. It was very hot in St Remy when we were there but the rooms were cool and the pool was fantastic. The dinner on our first night there was so good that, despite a number of great restaurants in the area (this is Provence, after all), we went back again for dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday and were not disappointed.

Une merveille!!!

Nous avons passer un très bon séjour, la patronne est vraiment très accueillante et son mari le chef et sa brigade nous ont donner envie de rester plus longtemps et de déguster sa cuisine.. Un peu en retrait de tout , mais d'un calme!! la piscine est aussi un bon moment, une décoration très artistique un vrai régal.. J'y retournerai.. en plus il utilise l'Huile d'olive Estoublon une merveille. Ils ont une carte de vins vraiment très bien, avec beaucoup de choix de vins de régions..

Pretty country hotel

Lovely staff and a beautiful setting. The restaurant was excellent and the food presentation excellent. We found it a little isolated and also limiting.

Excellent place in Provence

This was our first time in Provence and Mas de l'Amarine was exactly what we imagined when we booked a place to stay. The owners really know how to make their guests welcome. From the moment we arrived till we departed (we stayed 2 nights) we felt welcome and we were taken care of... you can feel that it is not a "Show" rather Alice and her husband who is the Chef of the in house restaurant really like having people around. The House, rooms and surroundings are as beautiful as you would expect, all green, quiet and perfect for a short (or long) get away from the city. Breakfast is amazing, fresh and makes the rest of the day better... We had dinner in the restaurant on our second night, food was served with a lot of respect to the local products, it was tasty and again the service makes it a pleasure... You can see that the owners are genuinly generous! We will stay there again when we are in that region of provence.

hotel accueillant joliment arrange et bien situé.

Nous avons été accueillis très très gentiment par la maitresse de maison. Hôtel très propre. Petits déjeunes super délicieux et dommage que le restaurant soit fermé les lundi et mardi ! Les deux soirées que nous y passions! Rien a dire de négatif bien au contraire! On y retournera!!!! Attention dans la chambre rouge on se cogne facilement au lit noir!!!!! Et ça fait mal! Très bon petit séjour.... A refaire!!!!

Quiet and clean

B and B was in a quiet street and good for relaxing. however, the whole place was a little too quiet and made it slightly uncomfortable. Rooms were clean but lack of carpeting in entire room made wooden floorboards uneasy to walk on.

Great restaurant! good hotel.

Stayed here for about 5 days in the summer. A totally unique experience! A small villa turned hotel / restaurant with funky modern decor. A very quiet retreat (about 5-6 rooms max), nice pool and lounge area. The only problem we found is that, since the place is focused primarily on its restaurant and hotel comes second... guest might find a bit of difficulty at times. For instance if our blow dryer trips the breaker, you have to ask the hotel's main person in charge, who is an extremely friendly person BUT at dinner time she is taking orders at the restaurant, and you have to wait until she asks one of the other people working at the kitchen to come turn on the lights in your room. so you might have to wait a bit. There is also no one around passed restaurant hours until the next morning. Overall a bit overvalued but definitely very unique and peaceful with a great chef and exciting food!
