Nice stay at the Crystal Beach Hotel Ocean City

It was very pleasant. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. My room was nice, even with it being an older building they have taken good care of it and it was clean and ready. The view of the beach was great from the 5th floor and there was a small balcony to sit and look at the sea. The location is excellent being right on the beach boardwalk and beach. I was there for a concert and was able to rent a bike to travel to the event from Big Jim’s bikes who were also amazing and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay there again. I ate breakfast at the Barracuda lounge and it was ok. It’s got a nice atmosphere with outdoor seating and would be a great place to hang out and have a beer.

The hotel was nice and the front desk staff upon arrival was very welcoming and pleasant. The maid service wasn’t that good. They cleaned one of my rooms, but didn’t put any clean linen in the room. Other than that, the trip was fun and relaxing!

Should be advertised as an economy room.

1. The entire property needs more and effective signage. Everything from the driveway and parking garage is a mystery or misleading. 2. The property is showing a lot of wear and tear and does not show attempts to really correct or alleviate the issues. Rust, calcium buildup, dim lights, electrical plugs that don’t hold plugs, etc. 3. In our room the coffee maker wouldn’t brew a second cup without cooling down completely and the hot water never got more than barely warm after being run for over a minute. 4. The room was clean but clearly no pride was taken in preparation or amenity presentation.

Crystal beach hotel

From the beginning of my stay when I went into the hotel room – room 401 king bed with Jacuzzi. I turned the air on and bugs came out of it ants, etc. I did let them know downstairs immediately and they said that they were going to send somebody upstairs, but there was nothing they could do for the bugs. That night and the next night I found ants in my bed and on my food and I did tell them when I checked out the next day. All he said was he’s sorry for it and no compensation or Any remorse. then at 3 o’clock in the morning, there was people in the hotel kids screaming underneath us and very loud sending liquor up and down to each other from the balcony and we let them know about that too. Then at 8 o’clock in the morning was a car alarm that constantly went off for 45 minutes. Overall, I have to say I am truly disappointed in this hotel I won’t be staying here again and that’s sad because it is a good location to many things.

NOT HAPPY AT ALL

I stayed at this hotel before and had no problem at all, that's why I chose to come back here. Well this stay wasn't so good. The air conditioner didn't work and we woke up to ants all over the place. When I went to the front desk counter she said to me we have been having complaints about ants WELL FIX IT THEN! I was on the 5th floor unbelievable. Won't be staying there NO more!
