Das Hotel liegt zentral am See.

Schlechter Service an Rezeption. Kein Hotelparkplatz abgeblich vorhanden, obwohl Plätze frei waren. Essen eher unterdurchschnittlich für den Preis. Keine klimatisierte Restauranträume. Viele Gäste in Strandkleidung beim Dinner. Zimmer sind gut und die Lage isr auch gut. Hotelpersonal nicht ausgebildet und überfordert !

The Wellmarin Hotel is a lovely hotel, with great access to Lake Balaton. We have no complaints other than that there is very little English spoke at the front desk, and we did not feel very welcome, in comparison to the rest of the hotels we stayed at in Europe. There was a gentleman who worked the evening shift who did go above and beyond for us. We were thankful for him.

Not a 4 star hotel!!!

Useless receptionists who barely speak English, we complained when we realized air conditioning wasn't available to set up from the room and the heat mode couldn't be turned off, making it unbearable to spend time or sleep in the room! We asked for help in this matter and were promised it would be fixed however although cooling mode was now available it couldn't be set for less than 25 degrees Celsius! Breakfast was good however the dining room looked more like a refugee camp from the 50's! The one tiny elevator took hours to become available and climb to the 4th floor, and at checkout which is set for 10am) when we explained our discomfort we were faced with a couldn't care less attitude! The hotel was ridiculously over priced, and even the receptionist was shocked but what we were paying as we found out later was 4 times the price that other guests were charged! I never wrote a bad review, and wouldn't waist my time in doing so unless I felt so strongly about it.

Oh Dear!!!

This was a hotel without a soul!! Gloomy, basic and hard to find. Located next to Lake Ballaton it should have been designed and built to take full advantage of the views over the water. The restaurant was on the ground floor in the front of the hotel with no views of the lake at all!! The food was very basic and the general facilities scarce and lack lustre. We stayed only one night because we were so disappointed. Admittedly the weather was awful but if we had been more impressed we would have stayed longer. To future potential visitors to this hotel do look carefully at the advertising as all you read and see is not always the reality. Our Deluxe Double Room with Balcony and a lake view was a joke!! Oh dear this really spoilt an otherwise good holiday in Hungary.

Never again!!! Forget this hotel at any cost!

Never again. Wellamarin was just like a prison, you can not invite visitors/friends to your room. Awfull cleaning smell each day after entering the room. BED BUGS(!!!) during each night, came home with a lot of bug bite. On Saturday evening after 7pm there were no hot water while the cold water was dirty. The staff did not want to accept AMEX. This all an a horrible price. Forget this hotel at any cost!

Sehr schönes Hotel direkt am Balaton gelegen

Die Zimmer waren sauber und der Zustand des gesamten Hotels war einwandfrei. Das Frühstück war gut und umfangreich, wenn auch die angebotenen Speisen jeden morgen identisch waren. Das Hotel verfügt über einen eigenen Pool. Leider ist dieser für die Anzahl der Gäste viel zu klein dimensioniert. Die Liegen waren permanent "reserviert" und der Pool bereits am Vormittag nahezu überfüllt. Zum Glück ist der Balaton direkt vor der Haustür (ca. 20m). Bewachte Parkplätze sind für wenig Geld ebenfalls vorhanden. Kostenlose Parkplätze gibt es zahlreich direkt vor dem Hotel.

Hotel liegt sehr gut, Zimmer ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, schöner Pool, Liegen werden leider sehr früh reserviert, schlechter W-Lan Empfang im Zimmer, nur ein Aufzug bei 10 Stops im ganzen Hotel, dadurch entstehen massive Wartezeiten

Empfehlenswert

Wir waren vom Hotel allgemein sehr beeindruckt. Sehr angenehme und saubere Zimmer. Freundliches Personal. Nur hätte man uns informieren können, dass der Außenpool sowie die kompletten Außenanlagen (Liegeflächen) wegen Umbauarbeiten nicht benutzt werden können. Waren sehr enttäuscht, da wir gerne das schöne Wetter am Pool genossen hätten.

Skönt att kunna ligga vid poolen och sedan hade man ändå stranden precis utanför om man illegal sola och bada där. Hade även spa och andra aktiviteter inomhus som t ex bowling, squash, barnaktiviteter
