Hotel bien ubicado, habitación comoda, buen staff

Me quedé dos noches en el hotel. Recibí mucha información útil durante el check-in. La habitación amplia y cómoda con propio baño y agua caliente. El hotel está bien ubicado muy cerca de la plaza y del mar, pero dentro de una pequeña galería. No tenía problemas encontrarlo. Desayuno sencillo pero suficiente (té, café, jugo, pan, huevo, pastel, marmelada), aunque frutas frescas, jugo natural y queso sería mejor. En general lo recomendo.

Zentrale Lage

Hotel liegt direkt im Zentrum am Plaza, war aber doch recht ruhig. Es kann leicht übersehen werden, da sich der Eingang in einer Einkaufsgalerie befindet und nur ein Aufsteller auf dem Gehweg darauf hinweist. Parkplatz liegt zwei Blocks entfernt, dieser lässt sich aber mit einem Tor und Fernbedienung verschließen.

A mixed review

When we arrived we were upset to find that the door to the hotel was locked and no one was there to answer the bell. We waited for an hour before finally getting a store clerk to call (we don't travel with a phone) and have the owner let us in. We were further frustrated when he then could not find the reservation we'd made through hotels.com. Though after the initial frustration, we were calmed as he went out of his way to be extra helpful for us. He gave us a bigger room than we paid for, thoroughly explained a city map for us and gave us advice on how to get around Chiloe. Also the staff waited to make us breakfast the next morning despite the fact that we slept past the times listed for it. Otherwise the place is clean, comfortable, good wifi, good location close to all you need in Ancud and walkable to the bus station.

Cozy and convenient

The owner, Marcelo, bent over backwards make sure I was comfortable. A light bulb got replaced as soon as I mentioned it. It's walking distance from the bus station, restaurants and markets. And because I was departing very early, he made a point of leaving some breakfast for me in the refrigerator.
