Absolutely stunning property for those who like a bit of history. Host was so accommodating to our needs. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and we felt so relaxed making the most of the roll top bath. Breakfast was top drawer (loved the sausages especially). Nothing to fault. Our host Rod is justly proud of his restoration of this historic property and his beautiful Japanese garden. Our room was comfortable and well set up (though quite small), and the location in Tenterden is perfect for great restaurants from high-end Italian at Montalbano to good pub food at The Vine. Nearby are several fantastic National Trust gardens and the unique museum at actress Ellen Terry's house in Small Hythe. Perfect for a short break in Kent.
