I had high expectations for this Hyatt location given the area, but this was easily one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. For the price they charge, you expect basic functionality and cleanliness, neither of which were provided.
The Issues:
• Zero Housekeeping: We requested room service/cleaning, and it was a complete disaster. They didn't clean the room at all. We returned to the same mess we left with, which is unacceptable for a multi-night stay.
• The Shower: If you enjoy washing your hair with a light drizzle, you'll love it here. The water pressure was non-existent. It felt more like a leaky faucet than a hotel shower.
• The Lighting Situation: This was the most frustrating part. The room had two sets of curtains, but neither of them actually functioned to block out the light. There were no blackout curtains, meaning the Florida sun was streaming in and waking us up at dawn. It felt like sleeping in a greenhouse.
Bottom line: Between the lack of service and the broken room features, I won’t be staying here again. There are much better options in Delray where you can actually get a clean room and a decent night's sleep.
