Very nice bathroom, large and very clean. Executive room- large, big comfortable bed, tired furniture, no mini fridge, no iron, no information about hotel, locality local services , no private Wi-Fi, no telephone for service. No air con, room unbearable on hot day. Handy location for town centre.

We really enjoy staying at White Lion the rooms are spacious and clean and beds comfortable. Good car park to rear and outdoor seating area to the rear also. Bar is pleasant for drinks. We have stayed here several times already and we’d definitely stay here again This time the breakfast was disappointing - no longer as good a selection of continental and it was chaotic with people queueing to self serve area. But, as it is optional we just went somewhere else on second day.

Didn't have breakfast so can't comment. Bar staff friendly and real ale, (one), was good. Bar food was typical middle of the road pub grub, not good nor bad, but... meh! Hotel staff were good and welcoming. All in all, not bad for the money and would stay again.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the top (3rd floor) and right at the end of a corridor so was very quiet. However, if I was to stay again I would probably ask for a room on a lower floor due to needing to carry all the bags upstairs. The rooms were clean and well-presented with fresh bedding and towels and there had been some refurbishment to the bathroom and room however I would suggest that the hotel uses mattress protectors to keep the mattresses fresh. The complimentary refreshment tray was well stocked with Welsh Brew, water and biscuits. We were also lucky to get a space on the car park at the rear of the hotel which was a bonus. We didn’t stay for breakfast as we ate in the bar the night before and were disappointed at the quality of the food served. If you are looking for an overnight stay in Bala then I would not hesitate to stop here but would look elsewhere for longer stays.
