Needs upgrading. The bed was OK but warned out. The pillows needed replacing at least 10 years ago. One of the reasons I booked this hottel is in the search they show a very lush breakfast. The breakfast they serve is virtual nonexistent. There is not even toast. And coffee is very poor. The only redeeming quality is that it is very clean and only 20 minutes from downtown.

We weren’t sure what to expect as it’s an older motel style property, but we were very pleasantly surprised! It’s located in a very quiet area, surrounded by trees, so it’s great if you’re looking for somewhere quiet but close to the airport and main thoroughfares. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities of a larger hotel. The price was right, and we would definitely stay here again!

The room was nice (though the toilet roll holder was broken). Better inside than outside. Exterior needs maintenance. "Breakfast" was minimal. We unfortunately did not realize part of the inn was two storey - two of us with mobility limitations had a real struggle getting to our 2nd floor room which we were told could not be changed.

Very good hotel. Location was close to airport. Price was good. Breakfast offering was simple but good. We had the king size room with sofa. Great space. Very clean. A small table beside the left side of bed would be a great addition. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Thank you for the Globe and Mail.

We were packing up my daughter stuff at school and taking her back home for the summer. The room met the requirement needs for this trip, how ever USB ports in the rooms would be more helpful. Room was clean and overall area was quiet. It was conveniently located, everything you could need was not far away.

Has the potential to be a hidden gem. Affordable rooms on a nice lot, just off Prince of Whales, south of Ottawa. The rooms have been updated (cosmetically), and we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The room was much nicer than the pictures posted online! We ran into the following issues (in room #34): -toilet worked intermittently (just had to take the lid off to get the water to refill, from time to time) -landline phone did not work (not a big deal if you have a cell phone) -the TV had a "white noise" in the background. The louder the volume got, the louder the white noise got in the background - if that makes sense? The staff did change out the TV while we were out (I didn't see them, but I have no reason not to believe them), however it did not rectify the issue -the "continental breakfast" should not have been advertised as such...in my humble opinion! Processed muffins, tea, coffee, yogurt, 3 types of cereal. That's it!! Better than nothing I suppose, but when I think of Continental Breakfasts, I'm thinking eggs, sausage, pancakes, breads, a toaster, oatmeal, fresh fruit, etc? All that said, the night front desk person was kind and did the best he could to rectify the issues we had (mainly with the TV). Management was kind enough to give us a discount for the issues. They did offer to move us the next day, however we declined as they didn't have any other rooms available with 2 beds. Will probably give this hotel another chance in the future!
