Staff were very friendly and gave lots of useful information on arrival. The rooms we had were clean and the Hotels location was perfect for our stay. The Hotel is just off the La Rambla and has easy sccess to the Metro. Barcelona old town is only a few minutes walk away, where there are lots of shops, bars and restaurants.

We found that the staff went above and beyond to make certain that we enjoyed their city to the fullest. Not only did they point out highlights, they also asked us questions about our own interests and time frames Then they offered suggestions that we could choose. We booked a double room but recieved 2 single beds. Our room had no locking mechanism on the door so all our belongings were insecure and left us feeling unsafe during the night. The hotel looks nothing like the images. The front of the hotel had a smashed glass front to start with which again made us feel unsafe.

I loved my stay at Dalia Ramblas. I will definitely stay here again. The front desk was very helpful and provided guidance on what to do. The rooms are small. If you are looking for a hotel with big rooms, this is not the place. But the hotel is conveniently located in the gothic quarter. I doubt you will spend much time in your room. The beach is about 40 mins walk (worth walking to the beach lots to see on the way) or about 30 mins by bus. A lot of options for food, drinks, and sightseeing, The staff is friendly and willing to help you with any questions you might have. I highly recommend staying here.
