They have bed bugs, stains on the walls,towels and sheets, cigarette burns on blankets and sheets and carpet ripped in multiple spots

The entire place smells so strongly of deodorizer it left my eyes and throat burning. Lots of road noise and uncomfortable beds. Obvious stains on sheets and carpet. Bathroom was surprisingly clean so getting a shower was the best part of my stay. This place has seen better days.

Strong mothballs odor. 1st room provided no lights worked and had old food in the fridge. 2nd room very uncomfortable beds. Room above us could be heard. Got woken up at midnight by someone trying to kick down doors and the police. Left at 1230 am on 1st night of a 3 night stay and didn’t go back.

No Breakfast . After wake up first thing to do is looking for breakfast. Cleaning is not good . I found lots of trash above the bed . The linen is full of hair whose is that i don't know . I stay there for 8 night they only clean my room and change my linen one time. All Linen are damaged by cigarettes. I found lots of hole

the price was right but the curtains were torn, run was torn, bathroom curtain was hun backwards. The firepit looked like garbage was being burned outside, the phone didn't work for room to room communications. The property needs a bit of TLC to fix it up.

Very unspectacular. Dated and dingy. Nothing was horrendous, but nothing stood out either. Mattress was old and lumpy. A few small stains on the bedspread. Slightly musty smell in the room but not overwhelming. Spartan and utilitarian. Fine for a night, decent value for the price.

We paid $24 for Continental breakfast but they don't offer it. We were also told check out was 11, but it is really 10. The site needs to be updated to what the hotel offers.

Good Find: Inexpensive, Clean, & Safe Feeling

I look for lodging in smaller communities because I worry about my car etc in urban areas. This was comfortable and quiet. Not much business it seems as I counted only five cars as I left early in the morning. I’ll return next time I find myself in the Watertown area.

They honored our request for ground floor room close to parking. I think there were only a few guests, so that was easy. The beds were comfortable. The microwave & fridge were clean & worked fine. Old, wornout furniture in the room--scratched, gouged up, etc. Sticky bathroom floor. Seriously in need of upgrades. "Breakfast" was coffee & tea--thankfully we weren't planning on it being our actual meal. Huge issue with checkout time. Listed on Expedia as 11am, when I checked in, I was told 10am & they charge an extra day immediately for late checkout. AND they have a sign saying 10am! Chatted with Expedia--they called the property & were told, something like "No we have 11am not 10am checkout. No extra charge if they stay until 11! We have an early checkout option." But they have that sign...and EVERY hotel lets you leave before the official checkout time! I wasted my key points on this one!

The room I had booked was not ready, key lock didn’t work, was moved to a different incomplete room that was dirty and when I asked for room service was not given any for the entire stay. The only person who I had encountered actually came to get me in my room with a bad door lock with a towel wrapped around him as if he had just gotten out of the shower. Very unprofessional!

I stayed only overnight in October. Property a bit tired and run down. Bed decent slept ok. Pillows ok. Shower clean and water pressure decent. Served it’s purpose for a 1 night stay. I usually stay at the hotels in Evans Mills when I’m up but was only up for 1 day and needed to be as close to Carthage as possible. Not sure if u recommend at all if you want nice atmosphere because place is really only useful for a quick in and out situation.
