Not far from town but still need to arrange own transportation if you need to travel around Ubud Surrounded by green, very relaxing Breakfast has 5 choices, good enough Though the facilities have little bit old, it is good for money value with such pricing. Spa is also value for money and service is good. We have tried Bali style 3 hours package, very well All staff are nice, helpful and pleasant, well done

My wife and I have stayed 3 nights at Sankara, we both think that the CP value is very high. The food was good, the service was excellent, and this hotel is relatively new, so the room and all facilities are still in good condition and won't feel worn-off. Besides, if you just stay in uBud, the shuttle bus service may also come in handy and it just take around 10 mins from the hotel to downtown. Definitely recommended

The place was very accommodating when we needed to abruptly change our schedule there. We had a villa with a pool that was very private and very refreshing after a day hiking around Bali. They did not explain their shuttle service correctly. Be aware that it only goes on the schedule printed and if you want to get picked up in the center of Uber, you still have to notify them. It’s really not a regularly scheduled shuttle. Also there is loud construction next-door with drilling and hammering until 9 PM but hopefully this will be completed soon. It only affected the restaurant (very good food and good cultural dancing), the rooms themselves were quite quiet.

Fine location a bit outside town. Very helpful and smiling staff. Nice breakfast. Construction work at a neighbor site was a bit disturbing and it would have been nice to have been informed that there was no yoga classes available after all. But all in all we were happy with staying here.

フロントスタッフはもちろん、レストランのスタッフも清掃のスタッフも、とても優しく配慮も深く、なによりいつも素敵な笑顔でした。日本語で話してくださることもあり楽しかったです。 部屋は広くて景観もいいです。毎日ミネラルウォーターとフルーツの補充をしてくださいました。 レストランの食事は美しいだけじゃなくおいしかった！本当にまた行きたいです。 唯一、部屋の床になぜか絆創膏が貼りついていたのでそこだけが残念ですが、そんなこと気にならないぐらい素晴らしかったです！ 本当にありがとうございました！ The front desk staff, as well as the restaurant and cleaning staff, were all incredibly kind, thoughtful, and always had wonderful smiles. Some of them even spoke to us in Japanese, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The room was spacious with a great view, and they replenished the mineral water and fruit every day. The food at the restaurant was not only beautifully presented but also absolutely delicious! I truly want to visit again. The only downside was that I found a band-aid stuck to the floor in the room, which was a bit unfortunate. However, it was such a fantastic experience that it hardly mattered. Thank you so much for everything!

The Sankara Resort was everything we were hoping and more! The staff are amazing and make it feel as you are coming back to your very own home everyday. Everyone is so polite and goes out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. The restaurant has excellent food and service as well. Four of us travelled together and ate many meals here and enjoyed them all. We stayed 13 nights in a one bedroom pool suite and it was perfect. It is an open air bathroom that a blind rolls down to close off at night so we would get geckos and frogs visiting at night but that is part of living in the jungle and only added to the experience. Coming back to your own private pool after walking around in the hot sun could not be beat. The room was always clean and restocked everyday unless you asked for them to not bother. The property itself is beautiful and well kept. They arranged trips and transportation for us and always had suggestions for different excursions. We had multiple massages and other services at the spa and all were incredible. It was a perfect central location for exploring different areas of the island, There are many other restaurants within walking distance of the property if you would like to change it up. There is construction going on next door but it was never later than 8 at night and did not bother us. After 9 pm all you could hear was frogs and the sounds of the jungle. We would highly recommend to anyone to stay here! We will definitely be back!

We had the private villa with the private pool . It was treed all around ,like an oasis. It was a place you could just stay in the room and be happy . (we had the darma villa) . The room came with breakfast. We booked transport online from the airport before we arrived ($27 for an hour and half drive) . We also booked a tour online (which we liked ,it had a guide) , but a taxi to the monkey forest is cheap ( i was told $8 return) it's a great place to stay
