Location is really nice!!
rosalba, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Great value for a low price, and super nicely located in the middle of Kings Canyon.
Tine Christiane, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

I really loved my stay at this lodge. The rooms were nice enough but not fancy but the location was great. We did see a bear from the lodge which the rangers drove off. It had a great view next to the river.
Ben, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

The location is very good, quiet and with continental breakfast.it just need to be updated interior wise.

One trash bin, ran out out tissue/low supply; good bagels for breakfast, really good coffee!

This is a National Park Lodge. It is very basic but the location is perfect if you wish to enjoy the park and get an early start on some hiking. The room was basic but nice and clean, staff was friendly and food was decent.
Ziv, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

It was right in the heart of Kings Canyon National Park
Michelle, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Excellent location on the roaring Rapids River. Great friendly staff, fantastic reasonably priced Café, delicious pulled pork with a bottle of wine on the river. Best to drive here in a sports type car, preferably convertible. We had a wonderful stay!!! Thank you very much!!!
David, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

Overall this worked out well for us but based upon the price the facilities and the rooms are very outdated. Location was great and they had a store and grill for food.
derek, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

We enjoyed our stay at Cedar Grove. The river just outside the lodge was amazing. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms could use updating but the staff and the view were excellent. We would stay here again if we were in the area.
Thomas L Siekmann, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

The hotel was as expected, a little outdated but still great option if staying in the park. Beautiful surrounding, friendly staff. Would be nice to have mini fridges in the room or at least an ice machine somewhere in the hotel. Gift shop has everything you might need including frozen food and microwave. Would definitely stay again.
Michele, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

Plenty of self parking. Very close to a main road, so traffic noise is loud.
Brian, 2-night trip

6/10 Okay

No microwave and frige. Coffee maker not working and have no power at our first night. Commodities very basic!
Thi Be, 2-night trip

6/10 Okay

The location along the river was beautiful and quiet. Wish the park service could spruce up the lodge and rooms some. These are not cheap rooms but looked like a tired motel. But location is splendid to enjoy the much quieter Kings Canyon NP.
Meri, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Great location, thankful for the snack bar that had great food options. I would recommend the place to friends. It’s old and you have to look beyond that I guess. The beds were comfortable and clean.
Sharla, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Older building, shower was tiny, location on river was beautiful. Restaurant served good food but limited choices. Convenience store was well stocked for a remote location. Friendly staff.
Andy, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

The property was great for what it is, a big step above camping. The place was clean and the room was comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a market with a good variety of food and gift items and camping items. There was a small take out restaurant with decent food. The roaring river by the hotel was spectacular and we enjoyed relaxing by ut daily!
Pamela, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

National park accommodations are not known for being “updated” so I didn’t expect that but overall the room looked fine. I appreciated the hot shower with good water pressure and comfortable bedding, as well as the continental (convenience) breakfast. Although there was no elevator I so appreciated the ramp! We also enjoyed relaxing and reading in the chairs placed by the river. They were sticklers about the 4pm check in. I mean to the minute…which is a little ridiculous when you are out in the middle of nowhere.

Ella M, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

Hotel very dated. Bare bones. Would have been nice to have a mini fridge and microwave in the room. Breakfast was bare bones. For the price (due to location) I would expect better. Only had cereal, mini muffins, small yogurts, no bagles, no toast. Juice in small plastic containers. Snack bar food was good, but overpriced. Ok hotel for amenities, excellent for location.
Dolores, 1-night trip

Great lodge in Kings Canyon National Park.
Shobhit, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Loved the location and accessibility to hiking. Staff was great and the room basic but all we needed
Helen, 3-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Great location. The burger and toasted cheese sandwiches that we ate in the snack bar were as good as any others we had in California. Price is high for the room but that is to be expected when staying in a NP and being surrounded by all the natural beauty. All the staff we met were very nice and helpful. Our room was clean and suited our needs.
