The hotel staff is wonderful
But the property is in rough shape. Recent floods took a toll on the elevators and lobby ceiling

The front staff was great, however I asked for a late check out and I’m not sure if they didn’t note it but while trying to get ready for a show we had multiple people come knocking on our door and we kept having to explain we had late checkout for 2pm

Weekend stay
We came to spend a night for a holiday weekend with Broadway show and dinner. The hotel was perfectly located and convenient.

Don’t bother
Elevators were broken. Only one worked and it had to be manually operated by a staff. Lines formed. Had to text to get an elevator down. Plus a flood caused construction, scaffolding and dryers in the lobby. The management offered nothing to customers. They could have offered free drinks, breakfast, discount off rooms, anything for the inconvenience. Instead they were just rude. Plus, the handle on the bathroom door of room was loose and door was just beat up. Don’t stay here.

Was informed elevator didn’t work when I checked in but would be fixed shortly. 3 days later still not fixed. Alarms went off at 2:30 in morning for a long time. Was nervous/ tried to call front desk. Phone not working. Was told later phones not working and to text if you needed anything. Ugh. Bad stay.

Let me just say they stay was nice but we ran into the issue of the elevators not working which was a big inconvenience when your room is on the 19th floor. We waited over 10-15 minutes everytime we wanted to get down stairs and some times we didn’t even get a response until time had passed and we’d already walked down the steps and got to our destination in a different part of the city. The elevator operators informed us that the elevators have been down for a good amount of time now and it didn’t seem like it’d be fixed anytime soon. On check out day we were informed that only 1 elevator was working and that’s absurd for a hotel to have happen on the busiest check out day of the week. My Biggest concern is that what if u had an emergency and taking the steps wasn’t an option for me. I didn’t like that there was any type of accommodation for the elevators not working properly. We weren’t offered a discount on our stay, free breakfast or anything of that sort. We received 10% off our bill if we decided to eat at the hotel restaurant and after talking to some of the other guests staying there they let us know the food and drinks weren’t worth it so that was off the table. I’m disappointed in this stay and I wouldn’t book this hotel again

Broken elevator ruined our trip. Embarrassing state of hotel compared to previous stays.
