Quality of the complimentary drinks was disappointing. I’m told this is fairly common across all inclusive resorts. Little to no alcohol in cocktails. All other services were top notch.

The property itself was very beautiful. The reason for this poor review is due to the fact that we went there to relax but ended up with a nightmare on our hands headed home. The hotel charged my dad‘s credit card a very high amount of money I am not allowed to say apparently in American dollars instead of pesos. When he called to correct the issue, they said they required him to send his credit card and passport and could not correct the issue. We had to contact the bank to get involved. Additionally, Expedia sells trip insurance, but refuses to cooperate with them when it comes time to file a claim. We had to leave our vacation due to illness, and filed a claim in the beginning of December. It is about to be February and the insurance company still says they are waiting to hear back from Expedia. I am starting to get the feeling Travel Guard and/or Expedia is a scam.

We traveled with our extended family and with small children ( 1 year to 9) . We had a fantastic experience. It was a very laid back and Family friendly environment, but yet checked all the boxes for the adults. It didnt feel like a theme park and was a true vacation. We will be back!

this property is top notch. You are welcomed with a cold towel and given every courtesy when you arrive. The staff is amazing, friendly and they remember you and you are greeted by name as you visit the different areas of the hotel. The view from the room while either lounging in the hammock or relaxing in the spa on our balcony is breath-taking. There are little touches thought the hotel and your room that make the stay an experience to relive over and over. Def coming back.

The staff was amazing! The pool activities and staff getting people involved was really fun! After checking in they are a bit pushy with time share like opportunities to take advantage of and receive discounts on tours. We were not looking to do that but if you are it’s there for the taking. The food at the Mexican restaurant Zama was not good and for the most part that was the the only available restaurant to eat for lunch time everyday other than room service or the food offered at the pool which got old after a few days. The buffet dinner was supposed to be served everyday as advertised on the website and also on the elevators but was only available one day per week. However, the breakfast buffet was served daily and that was the best most authentic Mexican food of the trip! Overall, great service from the staff at the pool and in the restaurants, food wasn’t great as a whole due to limited options and the pool was amazing. The pool was the best part of the trip hands down

We had the BEST time at Villa Del Palmar and definitely plan on going back. The food was phenomenal, service was amazing and the grounds are stunning. I can't say enough wonderful things. Everyone affiliated with the resort was courteous, caring and went above and beyond from the reception area to the servers and housekeeping!

The rooms are big and beautiful with massive balconies with hammocks. The beach is good with more than adequate lounging options. We did the all inclusive which is the way to go. Food and service are fantastic. The place is well maintained and spotless! Staff is ultra friendly and prompt. Only drawback is signing for everything but it really wasn’t a bother.

I researched quite a few hotels before settling on this one. As many as you I read the reviews…this place exceeded my expectations. First off the food was absolutely incredible, each dish felt like it was made specifically for you with high quality options. The staff was amazing, attentive and cheerful adding to the overall experience. Room was clean, updated and nice. We loved it and will be returning. I’d definitely say this is family friendly and more focused on those wanting to relax over a party atmosphere.

I actually rate this property 5 stars. For some reason my app won’t allow me to pick the 5 star rating. This is a great resort ! The pools are amazing, the food is really good for an all inclusive. Great family resort with lots of fun activities and a beautiful beach!! The beach was amazing! Our room was awesome and spacious! 5 stars!!

El check Inn mal sabor de boca más de hora y media después de las 4 que es su hora de entrada para que me asiganaran habitación no había restaurantes disponibles en ese horario solo pudimos comer snacks y obvio ya no pudimos reservar en restaurantes para cena esa noche. No todos los empleados son amables ejemplo hostes del Davino bastante grosera. Igual algunos meseros de alberca del puente. Las cosas que son adicionales a plan todo incluido hay que tener mucho cuidado está en letras chiquitas. Lo del concierge mucho tiempo para que traten de venderte tiempo compartido donde además te quieren robar una mañana con un desayuno gratis que obvio si vas en cto está incluido uno va a vacacionar no a que le vendan nada
