Great spot on the water.

Perfect for what we needed, great views, fabulous staff and an easy walk to the town meant we could leave the car behind. An older style motel, but the welcome, breakfast, evening wine were wonderful.

Sunsets for Days!

It is in a beautiful location overlooking the old town of St. Augustine. The facility is moderately outdated, but the view and the hospitality of the staff outweigh that. I will come back again and again! The happy hour and breakfast were cute and quaint. My children loved to watch the birds and dolphins. A short walk over the bridge to the fort, restaurants, and shopping!

Very charming and perfect location

Absolutely loved the Edgewater Inn! With a superb location in walking distance from all the sights in St Augustine and a beautiful view of the river. Staff was nice and accomodating and the terrace perfect for morning coffee and a afternoon break. The place could do with an update, however very charming and would definately come back!

Welcoming place in a great location

The room was updated and very clean. We loved having a patio on the water. It is a close walk to the historic area and had free onsite parking. The hot breakfast was great. And we loved the happy hour wine and snacks.

My 10 year old and I had a great one night stay! Staff was very nice, awesome breakfast and a very picturesque back deck looking over the draw bridge and historic district. We'll be staying again when we come back!

My husband and I would have liked to enjoy a cigar sitting out back facing the bay and that was a bummer that we could not do that or fish out back. When we booked this hotel that was a few things we were looking forward to. Otherwise very nice place and enjoyed our stay.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and the happy hour were both great. Different each day. Our room was facing the water so we also enjoyed watching the sunset over St Augustine. It is an older property but bathrooms were renovated and the beds very comfortable. Room was very clean. Walkable to the historic district. Would stay again.

Staff is wonderful! Some detail to cleaning , ie; crumbs, sand other pieces that should haven swept up. Air conditioners very loud. Bathroom sink drained fully only half the time. Great location for walking to town and to sit outside room to see water. Overall the place needs some upgrades.

Building is older but rooms have been renovated. No carpet and showers tile. Wonderful breakfast and a fun happy hour with fabulous sunset view of the water. Easy walk to the historic area. Very quiet. I recommend valance for rooms with the outside light and a longer shower curtain. I would stay here again.

Staff was incredibly friendly, beds were comfortable. Just need better curtains in the windows because the outside lights were shining in and it was hard to sleep. Great location and awesome homemade breakfast! I would stay again!
