The pre-arrival and arrival communications from the concierge was excellent. The location was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. The room was tiny, the en-suite tinier still! No room to swing a kitten! The general appearance was rather shabby and worn with tatty and frayed mats, chipped paint etc. A lot of noise at night from outside, but that’s not the hotels’ fault.

Hossain and all the staff were great. Friendly and helpful. They looked after our bags when we arrived, brought tea in the morning and helped carry bags to the nearby tube station. Together with some nice snacks and refreshments in the room, this made a great stay. Highly recommended.

The most welcoming and helpful staff I have ever met. Mir was a great host. Room is small but comfortable. Came with some snack items and drinks in the mini bar that were included. Even brought us morning tea before we departed. Was helpful with luggage storage. The location is fabulous, easy walking to Kings Cross station. I have no complaints. I hope to stay there again.

Customer service. Stayed for one night for a business trip and chose this due to location which is ideal as only 5 minute walk from Kings Cross station. Selected the Kings Suite which is located on the lower ground floor and even has a small outdoor space. The room is very good in size and has a 3 person table, double bed, seating area and small kitchen area. There is a large wet room and the decor is excellent. The real standout is the customer service. There are so many little things that they do (and don’t have to) which makes them stand well above others.From the personalised hand-written card and gift, to the complimentary food and drink in the room, to the morning tea trolley with newspaper etc that is waiting for you at your door in the morning. It really does make a difference and nothing is too much trouble. Mir is a superstar! So friendly and helpful and can’t do any more for you. Thanks Mir! Also a huge 5 stars for the communication you receive in the build up to your stay. Emails; texts and WhatsApps making sure you have everything you need, not only for a personal welcome and smooth checkin, but also with recommendations for places to visit or eat at locally. The customer service is above pretty much most other hotels. Well done Team Rokxy!

The staff went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. They accommodated my early check in without extra payment. and helped with my bags taking them up the stairs (no lift). Thank you for arrival instructions prior to arrival, this made a huge difference being prepared in advance. The room is small but perfect for an overnight stay. I meant to tell the staff the shower tray didn’t drain quickly, causing an overflow. I haven’t downgraded the rations these things happen, and I forgot to report

The Rokxy Townhosue is very convenient for Kings Cross/St Pancras and is reasonably quiet considering how central it is. There was noise from people and traffic a bit, but not too bad. The room - the Penthouse Suite - was a nice room with big windows overlooking the square (where there was a lot of construction going on). There were a few niggles like a broken toilet roll holder and a rug that had a permanently bent up corner because it catches in the door and it is a bit of a trip hazard. We were told there would be tea, a "treat" and a paper in the morning, but we only got tea (which I don't generally drink anyway). A quirky place that tries hard and is decent value for the area.

The hotel staff were very welcoming went above and beyond to help me have an early check in. Their apartment is on the top floor with all the mod cons. And nicely decorated. Nice touches like Aesop toiletries and free water soft drinks and chocolates. I would definitely stay again and I recommend.

We had a prepaid, non-refundable reservation at this hotel. Unfortunately, our flight from Inverness to London was cancelled due to Storm Amy, and we were forced to stay an extra night in Inverness — a situation completely beyond our control. We had a prepaid, non-refundable reservation at this property. Unfortunately, our flight from Inverness to London was cancelled due to Storm Amy, forcing us to stay unexpectedly in Inverness — something completely beyond our control. We contacted the hotel through Hotels.com, who also tried several times to reach them on our behalf. Despite all attempts, the property never replied — not even to politely decline our request. I fully understand that a non-refundable booking has clear rules, but in cases of force majeure, most properties at least show some understanding or basic communication. Here, there was none. Even if they had chosen not to issue a refund, a simple response would have been enough to show respect for their guests. Sadly, this lack of empathy and professionalism left a very poor impression. I would not stay here again, and I would advise future guests to be aware that customer service is completely unresponsive in unexpected situations.
