Museums and theaters offer cultural immersion between shopping trips to elegant galleries. Getting around is best done on foot despite challenging cobblestones. The central location puts you minutes from metro lines and major attractions. Accommodation ranges from converted guild houses to modern hotels, while restaurants serve everything from humble moules-frites to Michelin-starred cuisine.

Ixelles
Explore the vibrant Matongé district, boasting diverse shops and eateries, or unwind at scenic spots like Ixelles Ponds and Tenbosch Park. Don't miss the Art Nouveau houses by Victor Horta!

European Quarter
The European Quarter buzzes with suited professionals and global decision-makers rushing between glass-walled buildings. Peek inside the curved European Parliament or dive into EU history at the interactive Parlamentarium. Wide boulevards lined with flags from 27 nations lead to Parc du Cinquantenaire, where you can catch your breath among monuments and expansive lawns. Getting around couldn't be easier with Schuman metro station and multiple bus routes providing excellent connectivity every few minutes. Upscale international restaurants cater to the diplomatic crowd, while nearby Leopold Park offers peaceful walking paths when you need to escape the bureaucratic bustle.

Brussels and related destinations
Waffles aren't just breakfast here – they're an art form, best enjoyed while admiring La Grand Place's gilded guildhalls that seem almost too ornate to be real. The Manneken Pis statue proves even national monuments can have a sense of humor. Duck into the Musical Instruments Museum where vintage saxophones and strange medieval contraptions await behind an Art Nouveau façade. The Royal Museums of Fine Arts houses Flemish masterpieces that make art history textbooks come alive. Chocolate shops offer free samples with such casual generosity you'll wonder if they've miscalculated their profit margins. After dark, tiny pubs serve hundreds of beer varieties, each in its own specially shaped glass – a ritual bartenders take very seriously indeed.

"The rooms are very clean, the staff is friendly. It is located just in front of the train station so it is very easy to move. We didn’t take the breakfast but it has Carrefour express mini supermarket downstairs so we bought our things for prepare our breakfast at the room"
Novotel Brussels City Centre
"Very clean room and comfortable. Great location, around the corner from a Metro station and short walks to the Grand Plaza, Museums and Central Train Station. Staff very helpful. Also very close to numerous restaurants, cafes, food bistros, etc. And lots of shopping nearby. Wonderful place to stay."
Le Louise Hotel Brussels - MGallery
"Clean hotel, great location, amazing staff!!! Thank you!"
ibis Brussels off Grand Place
"The hotel is very central and it is a budget hotel but it’s quality at a budget rate. I thought the breakfast was excellent and the fact that it includes fresh orange juice and you can make your own pancakes added to a really nice experience. Everything is next door to the hotel it is a five minute walk to the central Square. The staff was super helpful and very accommodating, probably some of the best stuff I have had to engage with on a trip. I had a lovely day at the ibis. The only points I would know is that the rooms were quite warm and it was difficult to keep windows open as it is central so it is noisy. The Aircon really needs to be a bit more powerful. I also felt the Floors needed a good hoover."
