In my first room the sound-proofing window panes were loose and didn’t fit properly, and they rattled. Not possible to sleep. Changed rooms. In new room, panes also didn’t fit together, but didn’t rattle. My son in room next door had same problem. Bacon at breakfast was as dry as leather.

I enjoyed my stay at the Alma Lodge Hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful and it was easy to get a late drink at the bar. The breakfast was quite varied and staff checked that items were maintained regularly, unlike in many other hotels I have stayed at in the past. I would be happy to stay at the Alma Lodge again.
