The 2 things that stand out are the friendliness and responsiveness of the staff. Always great to talk to and great for information or help with something. The other special thing is that the place is very 1940s cool, an actual midcentury modern resort built by William Cody (with modern updates of course) They have a free continental breakfast at their sister property next door.

The location is perfect. It is within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. The room was spacious and clean. The patio was beautiful, but could use some new furnishings. The staff was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

This was a pretty butvtired looking property. The room while dark and dingy was pleasant enough. The batroom was tiny. It took a good 5 plus minites to get hot water. There was no telephone in the room to call a concierge or the front desk. In fact the lobby wasn't stsffed and instesd one had to walk around the corner to a sister property to find staff to ask sny question.The staff at the desk was pleasant enough, but having to walk to talk to anyone was inconvenient to say the lesst. The first day when we got back to the hotel and found our room hsd not been touched, we had to walk next door to complain. They werr immedistely responsive and sent a cleaner to the room who brought fresh towels snd apologized but shoeed us thatbher master key foob didn't work to let her in. The pool was beautiful with frsh clean towels provided each day, and a fir pit for use each night. The hotel ewas well situated, within walking districtvto the downtoen area -- restaurants, shopes and the very wonderful Art Museum.

Location was wonderful. We could walk to everything we wanted to see in downtown. The hotel is old (small bathrooms) but well taken care of and so charming. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. We will definitely be staying here again.

My best friend and I had a great 3 night stay at the Del Marcos Hotel. It has a wonderful location, the hotel is clean and quiet, and the decor is awesome mid-century modern. Each room is unique and is named after a famous artist, architect, etc from that era. A simple but delicious breakfast (Greek yogurt, fresh fruit, granola, pastries, coffee) is included at their sister property next door. You can also order ala carte items for an extra charge. The sister hotel also provides room and pool service for food and drinks to the Del Marcos. Bikes are also available to borrow free of charge.

Rooms were in poor condition- chipped paint, stains on the floor. Uncomfortable bed. Closed front desk- have to work through their neighboring sister hotel. Kitchenettes were barely stocked with what appeared to be a few second-hand items. Not many towels. Staff were extremely kind and accommodating of our concerns.

We just had to toggle abit as we were unaware there was no staff working at this location. We walked next door to the sister hotel, which wasn’t far and checked in there. We wish the room smelled better- it was musty. The hotel itself is really cute- med century revival and would definitely like to stay again, once new management takes over officially.

We were greeted by friendly staff and escorted to our room after a seamless check-in. This property has a fantastic mid-century feel and is walkable to downtown restaurants, night clubs, and attractions. I wouldn’t hesitate recommend this hotel and would gladly book here again.

Quel dommage ! C’est hôtel si beau et si typique se délabre ! Nous y avons séjourné 4 fois ces 10 dernières années. L’accueil et le petit déjeuner se font désormais à l’hôtel à côté ou le personnel est très sympathique mais du coup il n’y a plus personne sur place ! Les chambres sont vieillissantes, la piscine aussi ! Les prestations ne sont plus à la hauteur du tarif

The staff was great! The pool area and room was cute, but when we walked into the bathroom we noticed these things: - No room or shelf space to put toiletries. - Toilet paper was on this rusty and unsturdy holder that kept fall over! - Toilet was old and stained. - Between the sink and shower, there was a black/dirty hole near the floor which was about five inches big (looks like something from a horror movie). I'm sure critters can enter as they please. Why can't they just fix it? It makes the place look rundown and unappealing even though certain parts of the room/property looks cute. - Also, there was a water cooler with lemon slices, which we thought was great, but when we put the water in our water bottle, it was HOT!!! It was gross so we tossed it out. They could put a little money into the property and fix certain things so it doesn't look so rundown and outdated.
