The most positive thing I have to say about this hotel is the staff. They were absolutely wonderful. With that said, the problems that arose were out of their hands. The main thing was our first day on arrival our key did not work. They said the original key had been taken and was going to be mailed back. That’s understandable, things like that happen, but they gave us a key they “made” for the lock.🤔 They said it always happens that it’s hard to get into the room. At this point, we could not get into the room, the staff could not get into the room. they said the owner was aware, but had not changed the lock yet. I couldn’t fathom how the owner knew and still did not take care of it. We said something needs to be done. We cannot sit around the hotel all day because we cannot leave and lock the door. We told them to contact the owner on the phone. they promised they would take care of it. It took all day and buying a brand new lock and it got done. Again, not the staffs fault. Whoever the owner is needs to get on this. These rooms were not cheap and I felt I should have been reimbursed for at least the first day because of all the hassles. On top of it we were guaranteed a 4 o’clock check-in and did not get in until 4:30. Again not the fault of the staff they were wonderful. Because of that late check-in, the cleaning staff had the door open for us so we didn’t know about the broken lock until the next day when we ventured out. Also the AC worked “sometimes” .
