Location is great. It’s close to everything. The price is decent enough. However the property does need a few improvements. Parking lot. Some paint. It’s an old motel that has been well used over the years and it shows. It really wouldn’t take much to brighten it up a bit…

The handrail up the steps was not sturdy. The step into the room was not level, but down and I stumbled. This would be a possible large injury. The toilet was not secured to the floor, which made us both afraid after the first use. All these factors have prevented me from wanting to return.

This is a low cost property and does not claim to be otherwise. It is well located, clean and efficient. Its biggest advantage is that they are quite flexible on 'early check-in' which was a big requirement for me. I wanted to check-in at 1pm and the management was absolutely ready to accommodate me. I think it will be the same for a late check-out, but not sure.

The owner/front desk man was unfriendly and short. When we showed up at 315pm to check in there was a sign on the door saying office closed until 4pm which is fine but I called him at 345pm to let him know we were there waiting he said 10-15 mins. I called again at 415pm as he still hadn't returned and he said he'd be there shortly. When we finally got a room, it wasn't even ready as house keeping was still vacuuming. The beds are absolutely horrible. There was no real heat, besides a little space heater provided and the door had a crack underneath causing a breeze from the outside. We finally decided to get out deposit back and left at 1am to go home and get some sleep. Waste of $132 for a night. Definitely wouldn't recommend.
