This is a gem of a hotel. The rooms are as described. Basic but very comfortable and well located in a nice part of town. The attached restaurant is excellent, charming and reasonably priced. From the outset, it is obvious that the staff work as a team and go beyond in making one’s stay or visit to the restaurant really pleasant. Will definitely stay again.

The bed was comfortable, very clean and well maintained. The room had all the amenities expected. We particularly liked the good food in the attractive inn, its location within town, its vibe as an older building, and the big free car park. There is a river walk close to the inn. The town us a shortish drive to various coastal beauty spots.

The room particularly the bathroom could have been cleaner as there was human hair in quite a few places and the tv screen was so blurry and smudged and a quick spray would have been good. But the staff are lovely and the food was brilliant. This is the 3rd time we have stayed and it hasnt put us off because everything else makes up for it.
