Very good

The room was very comfortable with a lovely bathroom. The location is excellent, five minutes away from Vatican and a metro station. Brilliant amenities for the shopping, eating or just relaxing. Unfortunately, the communication with the reception was poor. Also, it is not suitable for disabled people. There’s hardly anyone at the reception to help as there are many stairs inside the building.

Star Vatican

Great location, a couple blocks from St. Peter's square and Vatican. Very close to Metro station, bus stops , dining, shopping. Room was clean and quiet. Only negative thing was that it is not possible to check in before 2pm and the site listed to store luggage is at the hotel that manages the rooms and it is a cab ride away. These are rooms in an apartment building on a lovely street/neighborhood. Once you are in room with door codes and key to front door it is great. Checkout is easy, just leave front door key in room and then you can leave anytime. Towel/cleaning every day if you wish.The 2pm time listed to check-in is correct with no wiggle room. You supposedly can arrange for early check-in, but do so days before you arrive. There is no one onsite except 2-8pm except cleaning from 12-2pm. My advice is to alert the property a few days before if you need early check-in. I only emailed the day before and it was not soon enough. We finally got in room an hour early but only because the cleaner was there and helped us call and translate. Next time I will alert them days before if I need early check-in so can have codes before I arrive. Would definitely recommend it, just believe the times they list for check-in. There is not any wiggle room for showing up early. Also, begin a dialogue through Whatsapp with Star Vatican before you arrive, it will save you frustration when you arrive. Except for check in frustration, it was wonderful experience.

No volvería a llegar allí !!!

La llegada es complicada puesto que son apartamentos con sistema de clave , a pesar de que llame 2 veces a preguntar si había alguien en reception o lobby porque llegaba tarde en la noche y me dijeron que si había las 24 horas y en lo que llegamos al sitio contratando un taxi me cambiaron a otro edificio que tuvimos que caminar 2 cuadras por el cambio de último momento !!!! NO HAY LOBBY , todo es por WhatsApp . La habitación quedaba a nivel de estacionamiento por lo que en las mañana un ruido infernal de los carros y motos !!!! Y hay zancudos …..

Great location

We loved this room and the location, but checkin was an issue. I found the address, but could not figure out how to get in the building. Someone finally came out of the door and iv was able to go in. The reception lady was super nice, but the room was down the block and around the corner. There is no reception area if you need something or have s question. Other than that, this was a great place. The room was spavious with plenty of room. It felt very safe. We had a key to open a door onto the street, another key to get into the building, then a code to get into a hallway, and one more code to get in the room. Very close to the metro, restaurants, lots if little shops. We walked to the vatican museum.

One of the worst properties I have ever stayed. I stayed for 2 nights but should have stayed none. At the beginnig they send you a text message by whatsapp asking for passports and the time of my arrival. I arrived at 6 pm like I mentioned. There was no one, I had to stay out in the cold with my gurlfriend with all our luggage until someone gave ys access to the property. They don’t tell you how ti access the property. Once inside I called and texted the number they gave for service. According to them is 24h, 39 3791049866. I called the guy, he is not italian. I couldn’t understand his accent , he was super rude. He hanged the phone 4 times. I have american phone number, calls like that in another country and international are expensive. This guy was saying he would open the door and never did! He kept hanging the phone until i told him not to hang up on me again, he talked for like 15 seconds and hanged up. The thing didn’t end up there, these guys decided to change the code for my room the second night without telling me! I arrived ans had to wait around 2 hours until the guy gave me the correct code, the same guy and of course he was jot answering and hanging up on me when i was talking. These is one of the worst experience that i ever had, the second night was -5 celsius and my girlfriend had to stay out in the cole because this guy was telling me the wrong code. He called me later to tell me the correct code because he was saying it was a 9 but it was a 6. TERRIBLE
