My recent stay at Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta was overall a great experience, but there were a few surprises worth mentioning. The resort itself is beautiful — tucked away on a private beach surrounded by lush hills, it feels like a peaceful escape. The beach is clean and well-maintained, and there’s plenty of room to relax without feeling crowded.
The service was excellent across the board. Staff were friendly, professional, and always eager to help, whether we were lounging by the pool or dining at one of the restaurants.
The food and drink options were good, but one thing to be aware of: even though it’s advertised as all-inclusive, there were extra charges for “premium” drinks and certain food options. If you wanted top-shelf liquor, better wine, or specific menu items, you had to pay additional fees, which was a bit disappointing. It’s something I wish had been more clearly explained up front.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and had stunning ocean views. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves every night was a highlight of the trip.
Overall, Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta is a beautiful resort with great service and a relaxing atmosphere. Just keep in mind that not everything is included in the “all-inclusive” price.
Huge shout out to the entertainment squad.
