Had to rent an Uber/Lyft in order to get anywhere. Not a lot of food options close by for dining. There were two, one suggested reservations.

Looks decent from the outside/in the lobby, dated and unkept on the inside. Do not believe the good reviews like I did. Dirty sheets, dirty comforter, an old boneless wing next to the microwave… We will never stay here again, which is unfortunate because the front desk staff was very kind and helpful. The staff is the only reason I am giving two stars instead of one.

All was good till a lady started to knock on the door like she was the freaking cops. I ask what she wanted, she replied asking me for my name ask her what for she didn’t let me know why. I decided to get dressed and go to the front desk to see what was going on, she was going on phone after she was done she said that they put me on the wrong room, which that made no sense I told her that she woke us up from our nap, we couldn’t go back to sleep so we decided to leave

We arrived at the Wyndham Hotel in Odessa with high hopes and low expectations — turns out, even those were too high.
Rating: 0 out of 5 stars. Generously.
Let’s start with the Check-In
There was no one at the front desk. Just a sign that read:
“We don’t accept Cash App, chime or Venmo cards”
Room selection or lack there of -They gave a room with no electricity. The front desk lady said, “It’s the last room we have.” No working TV just a room with a bed
The state of the room itself- quality control: The carpet had a mysterious white powder that puffed up with every step. Not sure what that was. We didn’t ask questions. We just held our breath and prayed.
The smoke alarms were missing from the brackets
The walls were peeling
The bathroom had stay hairs all over the floor
Just when we thought things couldn’t get worse, the room flooded.
Not a metaphor. Actual water.
Therefore I can confidently say, I would never stay here again and I do not recommend anyone else to either. I know this area gets booked up quick for conferences and such but you’d be betttr off staying in Lubbock and driving than staying here.

Reserved a accessible room, did not get. Room given still dirty and and was not cleaned from previous go’er. Went to tell manager about it and she gave another non accessible room. Asked about why I didnt get the room I reserved and was told she didnt have any more in a very rude manner. Asked why have a reservation if they did not honor. Again very rude comment after I told her that I went to their website and it says you have two accessible rooms left and she threw the two room keys at me and walked back to her office. Manager has no customer service skills.
