Bed bugs in Room 334

The last day of our stay, my Wife discovered little red abrasions on her skin. Since leaving, they`ve spread to different parts of her body. Hands, arms, back and legs from what we assumed to be bed bugs. Now, its 2 days days later and they`ve only intensified. Guess we should`ve figured something was wrong when we were told housekeeping services the rooms "every other day." Excuse me! How can you do such a thing especially if you allow pest in the rooms. We`re very dissatisfied because until spending the weekend there, she`s never had a skin issue of this nature. This says alot about the cleaning...or lack there of at this particular location. We will be contacting them for a refund. This is rediculous and we would not reccommend this location to anyone.

Go Somewhere Else-There are alternatives

Terrible experience. Facility is very dated. Floors are wood framed and squeak terribly. The walls are paper thin that you can hear everything…like your neighbor snoring. There was no hot water at the sink. The shower had very little water pressure and leaked when shut off. The bed frames were so noisy that you could hear the other guests tossing and turning all night. I asked if I could change rooms but the front desk clerk said the hotel was fully booked, but it was 10:30 PM and there were less than 30 cars in the lot. It’s comical and madness that these places teach their employees to tell customers that the hotel is full, so they don’t have to address customer satisfaction. So simply put, I will never return to this property.

This was the absolute best hotel stay that I have ever had in Rome NY. If you were looking for a hotel in Rome, then this is absolutely what you’re looking for. They have the friendliest staff in the entire world they make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door. We also rented a conference room from them and they went out of their way to accommodate us with many different things. There is absolutely zero chance that I ever stay at any other hotel in the Rome New York area ever again. This hotel is one of the best I’ve been to in the world much less the Rome, New York area. I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody that is considering it, and it is definitely fairly priced better than the rest and the best hotel in Rome, New York. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

A decent place to sleep

This older hotel has an excellent, caring and attentive staff. It is located off major highways & easy to find. No road noise. Location handy to downtown and local attractions. Breakfast was well-stocked, but average. Comfortable beds & pillows. Heat worked fine. Plenty of hot water, but difficult to regulate temperature. The window curtains never close, so, BAM! daylight interrupts sleep.

Great stay overall!

I was super happy with the hotel condition, modern feel and the surrounding community. The staff were sometimes overwhelmed and not the best at talking to customers, except Cookie who checked us in! Ten stars for her! The room was super clean except for a couple water bugs in the bathroom in the morning. Breakfast was awesome! The lounge area was so comfortable and private!

Overall our stay was great. Only complaints is that the teens that stay here for sports events are very loud and took over the dining area. Also had a rude neighbor in the room next to us that was bothered by the volume of our tv at vol.20 at 3pm in the afternoon and kept knocking on our door several times to lower it. Wasn’t even that loud for their aggressive behavior.
