For the money- the bargain of all bargains
Listen, I had no expectations of little Silver Sands Resort, having never been to Clearwater Beach. I just knew the communication had been fabulous, the price was more than all right, and I was guaranteed a cool room and an operational swimming pool!
Pleasantly surprised- here are the bests- the bed is very comfortable. The refrigerator is big. The shower is awesome! The relaxing area outside is well-sized and while the pool is on the small size, it’s refreshingly cool and has a side ridge you can sit on.
The minuses are few. Our air conditioner never worked right, but having said that, the room stayed pretty cool anyway. Between my husband and the owner, we tried to fix it but it refused to be fixed. The owner even offered to switch us to another room on our last day that she had ready for another set of guests, so kind! The tv was kinda worthless as you had to have your own streaming services but we weren’t into watching tv anyway.
It was a wonderful experience. Charmaine is a fantastic owner of this quaint place, within easy walking distance anywhere. At a third of the cost of the fancy places- we’ll be back!!!
